Taylor should have never been thrown in with norris

Dawson should not have fought ward at 168.

Vargas shouldnt have been thrown in with trinidad that early

Mosley shouldnt have fought wright at all or rematched forrest and imo should have fired his father much much earlier

RJJ should have taken emmanuel stewards offer to turn pro with him after the olympics. What a team they could have been!!

Trinidad should have never fought winky either and also should have fired his father.

    Other examples?

    Jones did fine without Steward.

Riddick Bowe should have taken the option of defending against Lewis in 93 after winning the title against Holyfield. At that point I wouldva put big money on him beating Lewis. Instead he gave up the wbc title, had a couple of easy defences and then got fat and complacent in the rematch against Holyfield. Just stupid management and bad decision making all round.

Vargas fought Trinidad at the best time he could. Vargas was never gonna be good for much longer due to back problems and Tito was gonna move up. Vargas was just limited and overconfident.

Oleg Maskaev was thrown to the wolves to start his career. It eventually worked out for him anyway.

Broner has done fine in terms of money, but could've been dominating 135 until recently if he stayed there.

I could definitely see him doing better under other circumstances.

He seems to be the very model of a champion who failed to make key fights when he had the chance.

22 year old Erikson Lubin was just sparked out inside of a round in a fight most felt he wasn't nearly ready for.

I always thought alex stewart was badly managed. But even with better management his ceiling is still not all that high. Maybe he could have been a Botha type guy at best===the kind of guy that gets numerous title shots when other managers are looking for a soft touch for their guy.

But I never thought he should have fought holyfield. Wrong style for alex and he fights the guy twice. Southpaw Moorer was another guy to avoid and pretty much any southpaw. Maybe if he could have had some work on his defense wouldn't have hurt either.

He had zero confidence. They fed him bum after bum to try and build it up but in the big dights he could never deliver. I agree he had the physical potential to be a solid top 5 or maybe top 10 contender, but he just mentally couldnt put it together. Maybe if he had the right trainer....

I al2ays found it ridiculous how andrew golotas trainers, despite knowing thattheir fighter had really bad anxiety issues, still yelled at him in the corner against Bowe both times. I understand that it was a big fight but Golota was the type of guy you hald to be extra calm with

Meldrick wanted a pay day. Chavez was not willing to
Move up a weight class or to give Meldrick a rematch at this time. I agree it was not a pairing that did any favors to Meldrick, but there really was no other major draw outside of A Chavez rematch

David Reid was not ready for Trinidad, and would have been better served gradually building up to that level for another 3-5 fights

Reid had a degenerative eyelid condition and kind of needed to take the payday while it was there. His level of opposition and am experience were reasonable enough for him to take that fight. He won the first half of it at least.

With that horror reel of crushing ko defeats that he had, I was utterly amazed that he managed to ko Rahman a second time.
