:goodspot on. hatton was a superb world champion he wont ever make it to elite level, but at least he had a go. at the end of the day hatton is a working class guy who made it big.:good
I dont get why some people are shocked by this, hatton has always been like that, I did think he looked depressed
That is exactly right. He's just done what any other average guy would have done in his position. Hell if I trained like him, I'd sure pig out in between fights. Fact is, Hatton's style does not lend itself to longevity anyway, so it's hard to say this lifestyle has shortened his career. It's not like Hatton could have re-invented himself ala Hopkins once his speed and mobility had gone is it?
He won 1 World Title, some significant alphabet ones and the WBU... He is NOT a multi-weight World Champion.
I'm not sure what your definition of "world class" is, but he everyone he beat after Tszyu was a world champion or ex champ, surely. Well, besides Lazcano
I did not say he was a multi-weight world champion. He has won the IBF and IBO titles as well as the WBU title. Not bad for a fat bum eh?
Hatton ballooning up in between fights isnt good for him. Of course it isnt good for him but its good for him mentally. He grew up in a pub for christ's sake! The hitman will be back and with his biggest performance yet.
