That's very sad.....he must have some personal issues to get THAT fat between every fight. It's very unhealthy for your body to blow up that much over and over again. And it's not just beer....he must be eating like a pig.

Hatton has always done this between fights. Nothing to do with the Manny fight.

It's not only the beer man. he just has a slow metabolism. Even if I drink 10 pints a day I'm not becoming like him. And I'm not his fan but the fact that he could get in such a good shape with such a bad metabolism command some respect.

Even non athletes shouldn't live and eat how he does. Its ridiculous that he always blows up between fights like that. Its unhealthy no matter what walk of life you come from.

Leonit-its not just the beer. Its the pork scratchings, fried fish and chips, pies, crisps (potatoe chips), black pudding, butter, white bread and all the other crap. The only thing I consume out of that crap is beer and I keep that limited.

Traditional English food is disgusting man.

How old is he ? He looks OLD, like in his 40s ???

BTW, losing that much of fat in short time affects recuperation powers like hell. In his fight with Simon, Abraham started too late to lose weight, and he came in looking spent, almost every punch from Simon that landed staggered him a little bit. Against Oral, Abraham started much earlier to reduce his weight (I remember something like 4 weeks earlier), and he wasn't affected like that when Oral landed his many flush punches. Maybe that explains why like every punch Manny landed on Hatton was making him go down like shot.

Metabolism has something to do with it but eat the things I listed on a daily basis and you'll be suprised how fat you'd get. Remember McDonalds isn't even on that list and I'm sure he gets his missus to jump in the car and pick up a few value meals each week.

No doubt. Losing too much weight too quick isn't good for regular nine to fivers. So it must be many times worse for guys who are taking concentrated sustained punishment.
