Sad abrupt ending . . . I was hoping to see bruising action before any KD or KO but it ended so soon. Same expectation in the Montiel Donaire fight but again it ended too soon. :-(
Poor Ricky Hatton my AZZ...All he had to do was go home , coke out, and drink booze and he was good to go
It was just a perfect shot, probably one of the top 10 Ko's ever. I'm a huge Hatton fan so I was devastated that night, I honestly thought he was dying right there in the ring, my stomach was in knots.
It's always easy to watch a boxer, see something, and think you can capitalize on it. It's always different when you are in there, especially againsed that kind of speed.
It was still a bad camp which includes Sr. Hatton thought it isn't working so he dumped it. Not that he'd win, but would make the fight more competitive.
Hatton telegraphs his punches so badly that Pacquiao landed his counter as Hatton was barely starting his left hook.
Bottom line is that Hatton didn't really respect Pac's power. He tried to bully him and had his hands down lots of times and paid a price for doing so.
