The recent threads that have been started by our American cousins within this forum merely highlights how disapointed they are with their own heavyweights, one American victory over a brit in the division has got the vast majority of them frothing at the mouth. They fail to realise that despite the disapointment of the result we need not care all that much due to the relatively small significance of the loss and the fact we have more important things to worry about. Boxing is boxing, as a fan its not life and death, we prefer to conduct ourselves in a far more appropriate manner, threads like this belong in the general

It's because all their potential boxing fans are drifting towards the NFL and NBA. They don't have the dedication to be boxing fans the way Americans did in the 60s, 70s and 80s. it measn that eastern Europe is now dominating the world of boxing fans and the few that there are in America are of very poor quality.

 

And it appears to be getting worse.

 

Considering about 75% of the population of America falls into the heavyweight category I'd say the yanks arent getting much bang for their buck.
