Apart from PBF-Hatton, 2 elites on a very high demand fight, Hatton was never really a big ppv star in the US. He can draw big numbers to the venue, so could Pac but Pac's people cant afford the trip. Still, Pac's fight with Morales had record breaking crowd attendance for vegas, highest ever below LW and 5th in nevada ever. This fight will do about 600k. Consider Pac-JMM did 425k, at SFW and this one is at WW, higher weight generally draw higher. JMM must have gotten quite a few more fans now since their meeting and PBF is now a meainstream name whilst Pac wasnt back then. Add to that this is PBF returning fight which will get a few intrigued and ofcourse, the 24/7 which should add ATLEAST 100k extra.
Oh it did not sell out in a day. lol. Once 24/7 comes around and etc etc folk will buy the fight. The ppv #s will be good guaranteed.
Dont believe all that ****. tickets are selling like crazy, and Pacquiao-Hatton didnt sell out till the week of the fight, so dont worry. it will sell out
Is it just me or is the only evidence offered here a single man's perusal of TicketMaster? How does that alert him to exactly or even approximately how many tickets are left in these price ranges? The rest of it is generally the same sort of contentions that are the stock and trade of those with a distaste for Mayweather. I'm not saying that the author's arguments are necessarily wrong, but I'm uncertain how much stock ought to be put in these speculations above and beyond any poster on here with a similar axe to grind.
Fight is still two months away. :huh It will sell out. Gate revenue does not at all relate to ppv buys. Cheaper and better view to watch at home for $50 than be up in the bleacher watching like two ants fight at it. for $150.
This fight will more than hold its own with the general fan......the high priced tickets that generally are gobbled up by corporations, highrollers and celebrities, may be a tough sell because the non-boxing media is'nt selling the fight...... .....but mark my words, as the 24/7 shows start to show on HBO, the ticket sales will get alot better, and certainly the fight will do in about the same range if not better than Pac-Hatton. In fact, I'll be suprised if JMM-Mayweather does not outsell Pac-Hatton on PPV in US sales.
Aren't you going to be at the fight? I guess negrito is popular enough to draw your ass so shut the **** up. :yep
