"Popeye" Walter Woods?

Seriously? Pretty sick if true.

Many years ago I was talking with a trainer and some old-time fighter was there talking with us, and somehow the topic of ***** fighters came up, and someone mentioned "Popeye" Lou Woods, and they both agreed. Now I did not catch the mistake at the time, but there were two middleweights named Woods. There was a "Sgt." Lou Woods, and a "Popeye" Walter Woods. Obviously they put the wrong nickname with the wrong fighter, so I never did know which fighter they were referring to. If what you're saying is true, that might explain things.
