Yeah, Maidana pressed the issue in the fourth, but was stopped dead in his tracks by the best body jab Floyd ever threw, and Floyd resumed control from there.

What was Froid doing as a 16/17 yr old ?? in the Silver Gloves ?? lol. Manny & Antonio were fighting seasoned pro fighters, grown men, fighting to survive. with no manager or even a regular trainer. thats why they had losses

Floyd lost too but he had the NSAC & Vegas boxing covering his cowardly ass. when you speak the truth then its not excuses. I really hoped & prayed that somehow they could get Froid in the ring with Tony but knew the little coward would NEVER have the balls to do it. To watch Tony beat the **** out of him would really make my day. Also I wish Ann Wolfe could have got him out back of the gym too she'd beat him till he squealed like a pig. He's the biggest fraud in boxing history

That's what I don't get. Pimp only seems to appreciate the Vegas and "a-side" of boxing. He talks about never forgetting where you come from blah blah blah in the lounge(don't want to get into politics here but it's to make a point) but he has this really obnoxious and pig headed way of looking down on fighters from poor countries who literally had to fight to survive and put food on the table. Anyone who tries to use that loss against Pac is an idiot... What do Jack Dempsey's early losses count against his legacy? BHOPs debut loss etc. not it's totally irrelevant. The dude was also getting butthurt about the Wanheng Menayothin memes on here comparing his record to Mayweathers. a guy who also fights for peanuts and to put food on the table...... paraphrasing here "Nobody has ever heard of this midget, he only fights bums blah blah blah"

That Sugar Ray Leonard is "greater" than Tommy Hearns historically.

Tommy Hearns in nearly every aspect is better than Sugar Ray Leonard and I can't be convinced otherwise.

Larry Holmes' reign isn't 7 years and 3 months. Technically speaking his WBC reign was from 78-83, while his IBF reign was 83-85.

First of all, Bowe was not afraid of Lewis.
Second of all, their fight at the Olympics was stopped prematurely.
Third of all, up until Lewis teamed up with Steward, Bowe was the superior boxer.
After 1995, Bowe declined and Lewis improved.

Both Bowe & Newman ducked Lewis like the plague. Bowes ONLY chance was to honor the agreement they made when Bowe beat Vander & Lennox demolished Ruddock that the two meet to decide who the REAL champ was. Bowe didnt have the balls to do it & Newman KNEW Bowe wouldnt beat Lewis & their gravy train would be over.
