From recollection, Larry Holmes' fights were a bit dull.
His jab was awesome & just dominated every opponent in the same way. Memories fade, but that's how l remember him. A great champion all the same.

 

Pretty much all of the current fighters. The last really good technical fights i enjoyed were the two fights between Tony Harrison and Jermel Charlo. Harrison was very skilled and Charlo was the strong limited fighter. I could watch those guys fight ten times.

 

Lol. Except Mike could end it with one shot. And we all knew it lol. He certainly looked funky doing that though

 

Nobody ever said he wasnt effective. But as he got older, he was a grappling dirty fighter

 

****ing filthy John Ruiz. Not just me though. Evidently couldnt get on tv after awhile

 

Ugh. No wonder hes banned

 

He should've thrown more punches.

 

I thought the second half of the first Spinks fight was excellent especially the last round as Ali made a mighty effort to pull the fight out. I also think the Young fight tends to be underrated. Ali really tried to use his strength and size to put a lot of pressure on Young. True the Evangelista fight was horrible.

 

Ali. Canelo. Floyd.

 

No question, it was a dark time in the division.
