…I have been in the ring with. That man hit me with more than anybody I've been in the ring with…He was on point, A-Z, and he was that good." Noting he’s also fought Spence, Was Porter still feeling the effects from the punches even though most think the stoppage was too early? Or is there merit to his opinion?
I think a bit of both. Porter just being classy and showing respect after the defeat. Until Bud fights Spence we can't say who the best is.
P4P, Crawford is the best until Spence proves otherwise. At welterweight, we need THE match. And it's going a little Lopez/Gamboa right now.
No, I just meant at welterweight, to clarify. He's the best p4p fighter at the weight, but it's still arguable whose division it is.
Nah. Until they all actually fight in Welter division then it's hearsay. I can think of 4-6 fighters who have a better claim for p4p.
Will 6 do? Bud and Spence are close but need to fight each other otherwise there will always be a question mark. Usyl Loma Taylor Canelo Inoue Estrada
I clarified I meant p4p best at welterweight. So, some of these don't really count for that discussion, mang. Crawford, unlike Spence has bossed other divisions. P4P, I don't see them that close. At welterweight, I'm not satisfied one is significantly over the other.
Ok at welter they still need to fight each other. I like Crawford and Spence I think they are entertaining fighters they just need to get it on before one or both slow down too much.
Whoever says that one of them number one at this weight don't know the fighters they fought to make these assumptions. Shawn Porter rode camels through Sahara desert with his dad before the fight even started. I say Spence is close to number 1 or number 2 p4p, but only behind Crawford.
