I completely recognize why Crawford is heavily favored. But given these odds, do you see value?

One thing that might be the difference for me is the natural size difference. But I must also admit, I have not been following boxing hard core like I used to back in the days so my awareness of all situations currently is not on point.

Thoughts?

There's value for sure. Porter isn't outboxing Crawford but he can outwork him in the early rounds where Crawford starts slow and get a knockdown or two seeing as Crawford has been dropped by lesser fighters.

I'm a huge believer that Crawford is the best at 147 but Porter poses him a huge risk style wise.

I see alot of value in those odds. Porter can definitely win this fight if he mauls and makes it rough for Crawford. I might throw a $100 bet on Porter to net 900.

As I said in a thread the other week, it's only value if you really believe Porter is winning this fight. If you take the odds just because they're pretty and Shawn is a live dog, you're setting yourself up to lose dough. Don't be seduced.

On the other hand, if you think you see something the majority of observers are missing, go print that money.

I was disappointed in Crawford the last 3 years or so for being so inactive. I know he's got that dog in him but why waste your prime just sitting? Can't blame that on management. If they aren't doing their job, you have to move on. Now he's 34 and on the back end of his prime.

bet 100 on porter now, then bet on crawford on fight night, when the odds will tighten to about 3-1. that way you dont lose money, but still stand a chance of winning some if porter pulls it off. which i personally think he will. the odds right now are ridiculous.

Porter via KO/TKO is +1000. I think less of a value than the decision but enticing nevertheless.

I think Crawford will be at his best for this fight, he finally has an opponent where he can be judged accurately against Spence with.

I think this is a 50/50 fight
If Crawford destroys Porter I'd be very impressed.

I'm putting some money on that for sure.

The question is if you really believe that Porter gets the decision in a close fight. I don't think so. And the best case for Porter is a close fight. I love Porter. I watch all his fights and i hope he pulls it off and i think he can make this a close fight but man...hard to see them giving him the decision if it's just close.

Hopefully Porter bangs this weight bully cherrypicker out its what he deserves... Crawford's 34 now... Its the standard matchmaking, cherrypick and weight bully for years until you're on the slide then take the risks. Promoters and matchmaking make this sport no less than a circus show

If Terrance bud crawford can KO Showtime Shawn the same way he has his lesser opponents then he is the new truth over Spence at Welterweight.

i think Shawn comes up short like he does in most of his Big fights.
But he will definitely bring hellish War to bud Smoke.
Great litmus test.
It’s possible for porter to win
Just don’t bet your house buddy.

whats a $100-$200 anyway?
Hell,
I might even get in on that action.

I’d say it’s a 60/40 fight in Buds favor.
