This sucks. I had already put my V-cash on Porter when I read this.

I used to be a hard-core boxing fan, but all these catch-weights, clauses, and ducking have turned me into a casual fan.

Porter has no choice, Haymon runs the show.

Whilst I agree a one-off rehydration clause is a load of old sweaty 'nads, I have to agree with the people who said Porter knew what was in the contract when he signed it.

Either he thought he could make weight easily enough or the financial return was enough that he didn't care.

Would be pretty funny if he missed both weigh in and rehydration limits and just proceeded to go Gatti - Gamache on Broner's ass!

Rehydration weigh in at 11am. That sounds a bit too early. Does it give room to rehydrate in the following, I don't know, 10 hours until the fight? Or would it be too late to properly rehydrate after that point? I suppose it's a medical issue, perhaps you need to have a good night's sleep to properly rehydrate and not just become a water balloon?

Who is Porter's advisor? He needs to be fired.

If I was Porter I'd just come in over weight. It's not like Broner hasn't done it before.
