oh, you don't know do you? Devon quit when he went back to his corner in the last round they had. his trainer Cunningham went to tell the ref that Devon is pulling out only to see Darren Barker pulling Purdy out. Cunningham then turned around and told Devon to hang on a minute and sit down. the ref then waved it off after Barker wouldn't let Purdy continue. go to You Tube and watch the russian version to see for yourself. you see it in full. :good so that's twice now that Alexander has quit.
Brook doesn't have one stand out attribute, however, he has various attributes that make him a good boxer. He seems to have decent power, a good jab, and his timing is certainly one of his best asset. If he is to have any success against Porter, he really needs to employ that jab to manage the distance and prevent Porter getting on the inside where Kell is virtually helpless. Also, he needs to use lateral movement instead of being predictable and backing up in straight lines, moving constantly to his right to avoid Porter's left-hook, a punch that brook is susceptible to. I've said before that my main concern with Brook is his mental state, he seems to doubt himself and in this fight he should have no doubts. This is a tough fight, one that I would favour Porter, but hope Brook can shine and pull off the victory.
its a good thing they are fighting to find out a little more in what we have in these two fighters....the water is still murky with Porter, Thurman and Brook.....should be cleared up in about a year or two.
Not totally sure about Porter, but if he beats Brook clearly, then he should get a shot at Void but Void will never fight him.................Porter has looked bad in the past, so you really never know how he is going to fight....................
