Porter had a guarantee for 2 mill vs Spence, 1.2 mill vs Formella, 1 mill vs Broner, 1 mill vs Berto, 1 mill for Garcia, 1.25 mill for Ugas, 500k for Granados and 1 mill for Thurman, so I wouldn't call it a low ball offer but it's definitely not a good offer.

Porter is getting 1 mill or more for most of his fights, the one time he didn't he fought a journeymen and still made half a million. So 1 mill as an offer was never going to get this fight made. He should be getting at least 1.5 mill more likely 2 mill for a shot at Crawford.

No way he got 10 mill for that fight, not even Spence made that from that fight. The fight did a possible 350k buys that's about 26 mill and the live gate was 2.4 mill, throw in overseas TV rights fight may does 30 mill, half of that goes to the network so they maybe divide 15 mill between them. Maybe Porter got 5 mill with a cut of the PPV sales but even that's probably optimistic.

 

PPV sales brought in more on top of the guarantees.

 

Apologies slight correction Spence made +$10 Million while Porter about $8Million. PPV were sold worldwide. PBC guys raking it in whereas Top Rank are losing money on Crawford. Why should Porter take low ball offer from Top Rank. Best PBC handle the promotion and pay the guys properly.
