First things first, Porter looks an absolute beast. Great character as well as savage style, really do think he will be a big star. is anyone picking Brook to prevail should they as planned meet?

As for Brook, I was under the impression that the winner of that fight 100% has to fight Brook within 90 days. Is this not the case as Porter and GBP made no reference whatsoever to this mandatory fight?

Hopefully he does fight Brook next, we all know mandatory doesnt always mean mandatory, depends who's pulling the strings!

IBF have wrote to the promoters already, if no deal is met by May 21st then it goes to Purse bids. If Porter doesnt fight Kell next, or within 90 days he loses his belt, likewise Kell would lose his mandatory if he fights someone else.

Yes the IBF did announce the 90 day mandatory call. I think Brook can beat Porter. It will be a good fight and Porter is underrated and stopped Paulie in devastating way to be honest.

Cheers Box. I just thought it was kinda strange that they were hollering about doing as they please when it has clearly been arranged that the pair fight in 90 days. I gotta say, this fight looks real heavy right now. I just cannot help thinking about what Porter will do to Brook if the Carson Jones l version turns up lol

Agree. Brook needs to be on top of his A game. We will learn a lot about how good Kell is during this fight. Porter is a game fighter and very underrated. He beat Alexander who everyone thought would comfortably beat Porter. I just hope Kell lives up to the billing. Brook carries heavier hands than both Alexander and Paulie but that was below world level so would be good to see what he can do at world level now.

I think it will be an interesting clash of styles and a potential foty candidate tbh. swarmer vs boxer/puncher can only mean 1 thing! a great fight.

Yeah seems fairly set, i suppose you can never know for sure though, with GB having such power wouldn't suprise me if they made Porter vs Thurman, can't you avoid a mando if it's a unification and isn't Thurman the WBA Regular champion so GB might try pass that as a unification fight. Would be hillarious if Brook and Hearn got stung because of a Regular title!

Yeah i knows he's not a real champion but whats he defending vs Diaz this weekend? Thought it was the WBA title of course Maidana is the WBA champion but thought i saw Thurman down as defending a title?

Any notice how Eddie is not banging on about the fight with Porter if it was Paulie we have ....Kell must be cacking himself bet he pulls out of this fight citing a mystery injury and go daow a different route.

It will go ahead im sure, brook hits much harder and is physicaly bigger and stronger than alexander or paulie and porter will not just walk through him tough fight for both guys and should be a *******. Jones1 was not great but porter drew with a washed up lightweight in diaz
