Eddie needs to come out and make a statement on Brook's position now!

He has stated clearly that Brook will be fighting Porter. If Brook sticks to his boxing he will win

This is Kell Brook we're talking about, not Pernell Whitaker. When has Brook ever shown the ability to outbox a world-class fighter? He will simply do what he normally does. Plant his feet, stand tall, look for fast combinations and get caught whenever Porter trades with the left hook or right hand.

It's an interim, not regular. Don't have a clue where IBF stand on whether an interim belt would constitute a unification, but I doubt it.

That's what we need to find out! We all moan about Brook not stepping up, he's hopefully there now and can either show us he's got it or not.

I dont think we should be slating Brook until we see him with a champion / world class fighter.

This better not be PPV. Why do i get the niggling feeling Kell will get 'injured' in the run up

don't think kell will bottle it with a injury like some are suggesting, his whole reputation will go down the pan. I'm not sure what the rules are with regards to injury but i cant see him having the mentality to want to work his way back up the rankings to get another shot as he struggles to get motivated for smaller fights.

I think Hearn and Brook have come to the realisation that their plan of waiting for a title to become vacant and then trying to set up a fight with some soft touch is not going to happen any time soon.

    Surely wont be PPV....

I'm sure they are worried about having to fight Porter...they were probably praying Malignaggi would win now Brook's got to fight the fight of his life.
