I've seen the last fight with Porter i probably wasn't the only that noticed it, but i could see that Porter was very open to counters.

But based on their resumes i must make Porter the favorite. 60-65 in the american's favor

Wow anti-matchroom comments from Ryan the Lion.

You've been watching too much of Eddie on they stupid Ifilm videos by the look of it ha ha.
If you're saying 'powerhouse' Goldenboy weren't interested in coming to the U.K because they're so confident in winning the purse how do you know Hearn would have got Brook the best possible deal? If that was the case Hearn would have got a take it or leave it offer from Goldenboy.
I'm sure Brook got a decent deal in negotiations, but I bet it was the easiest as well.

Kell Brook has a massive fan base in the U.K and he is one of Matchroom biggest fighters, whereas Porter doesn't even have a fan base over in America, so I'm sure if Matchroom who are one of the biggest sports promoters in the World had at least tried to win the purse it wouldn't have been as easy for Goldenboy as you're making out.

This just proves again though that Hearn's in it for the easy money by sending his fighter abroad for the cash and putting the Sky money in his pocket. It's the easy way of making money, but it's not what's best for the fighter. And it doesn't matter if it's Goldenboy or Gary Shaw, Hearn would have still done it the easy way.
As for your little Matchroom comment - I thought Eddie said they're no.1 ha ha ha.

You actually think Matchroom could have outbid Goldenboy.

I need not say more, youre either a very poor troll or at the least very, very blinkered.

Too many Matchroom employee's on here and not enough boxing fans caring about the welfare of the fighters.
I mean I want what's best for Kell Brook, but he'll have to KO this guy because he wont get any favours over there from the officials.

Have you heard the fighters crying about their title shots?
How exactly would Matchroom outbid Goldenboy?

What about the date for the bout, if its part of a GB promotion they will get far more exposure in America than here, if Brook wins then he has the US audience interested (hopefully) then brings the belt home with a domestic based fight.

    You literally know nothing.

the last thing brook fans need to be worrying about is the judging/referees after what we have seen in UK the US standards are top notch

not only that brook has a padded record....... all he has done is fight tomato cans to build that record and ducked alexander and timothy bradley.... still 2 months to go... won't surprise me if brook gets "injured" before then.... can't have it all your way brook needs to prove himself....32-0.. 32 bums

TBF to Eddie he would have to dance along to Golden Boys beat just to secure a shot for Brook let alone home advantage. GBP don't really do purse bids as they are so powerful they call the shots in negotiations unless it's another big beast like top rank their dealing with so I'm not going to blame Fast car. Yes, Kell mandatory but GB/Haymon etc hold so much political power they would have found ways around it. Porter is not a special fighter nor does he have major market place pull but he holds a world title in the most lucrative division so the Americans are not going to let him fight in Sheffield or anywhere else in the UK..Porter will no doubt be looking to get a Mayweather jackpot purse so there was no way he would risk coming either even if Hearn paid him well - it would pale into sognifance of a big US PPV.

US judging can also be quite bad Lara vs Williams, Pacquiao vs Bradley 1, Abril vs Rios, Kotelnik vs Alexander, and Campillio vs Cloud are some well known robberies that have happened in recent years at World level.

agree but last few series of matchroom shows have had screamers in all of them....... almost a consistency of bad calls/decisions.
