    Who wins? If Broner beats Porter 8-4 or better would he get as much hype as Brook has gotten?

    I doubt that. Maidana is far better than Porter. I highly doubt Maidana would have lost to Julio Diaz, or not been able to get him out of there after 2 tries. Look at what Thurman did to Diaz, and compare it to Porter's struggle.

    I would pick Porter as I see his all out pressure bothering Broner ala the Maidana fight. That being said can't see Porter knocking him out, he does NOT have great power and Broner is resilient to say the least. Stick this fight in Columbus,OH please

    I think Broner soundly outboxes him. Problem is Porter is probably stronger than Broner, Broner is a small WW. He might be taller than Porter but Porter has a bigger frame and has been fighting at higher weights since the ams. If Broner can contain Porter's wild tactics like Brook did he wins easily imo.

    Yeah someone that boxes and moves will bother the reckless Porter. That being said Broner has a bad habit of standing flatfooted and not moving, laying on the ropes which seems a terrible thing to do against someone like Porter who is much bigger and very active (obviously could also see Broner knocking out Porter so hope the fight gets made)

    You got a point

    Definitely a possible outcome

    I just think that Porter would be too much for Broner and would just overwhelm him physically

    Thats when Porter is at his best

    I think that Maidana and Porter are probably around the same as far as strength but Porter is more explosive

    Broner doesn't have the skills to negate Porter

    At least thats how I see it

    I like Broner too

    Lolz at ellerbe the alt thinking Brook is hyped in comparison to Broner.

    Wasn't Brook a British bum who would be destroyed by Porter.... Whereas Broner was the next Mayweather who was going to school Alexander shut out victim Maidana with ease.

    And if Broner wins 8 rounds against Porter that's 2 rounds less than Brook against a Porter who's soul is on Kell's mantle piece in Sheffield.

    The only reason for this fight taking place is for Haymon to build Porter up for a 49-0 for Mayweather. Nothing more, nothing less.

    I can't see Broner knocking Porter out. Brook hits harder than Broner at WW imo, and he hit him with a flush uppercut that only a sturdy chin would take. I'd pick Broner but the only conclusions I can see is Broner outclassing Porter, or Porter just overwhelming him.

    Hans the alt that got exposed, answer the question. Would you completely downplay Brook's win over Porter, if Broner beat him? You think Broner is a bum so, if he beats him easily then the win means nothing right?

    I heard this fight is a possibility, and I see it as a good opportunity for Broner to showcase his skills.

    Ask Devon Alexander who's far better in Porter and Maidana.... I think he'll have a more educated opinion

    So boxing works like that? Also you're forgetting that this was a Maidana pre-garcia. Garcia completely turned his career around.

    But by your theory, Maidana is far better than Pacquiao. I guess Floyd just fought 2 atgs.

    Well in that case your own point about Thurman doing better against Diaz than Porter is irrelevant.

    Except you completely ignored the fact that this was a Maidana pre-Garcia, who completely turned his career around. Again I own you, it's just too easy. Your lack of knowledge, and overall IQ just makes it too simple. How's the minimum wage night job, and that little shed you call an apartment? Treating you well I hope.
