Brook is unproven vs anything but journeymen. Maybe he is world class or maybe not we dont know

Brook has been waiting to make the jump up in competition for years. I rate Senchenko higher than most and that was a good stoppage victory. Other than that, he has a tough even battle with Carson Jones and then a stoppage over him in an odd rematch... Other than THAT, Kell Brook has done nothing. Picking him over Porter is based solely on what you think he is or will become; as opposed to Porter who actually dominated Alexander.

 

You are right porter beat a world champ and brook has yet to fight someone of the level. But porter has only beat alexander so was that just a one off or is he the real deal? I think he is world class but brook idk

The Alexander fight is the only fight that Porter has looked good in (where he seemed to have a suspicious amount of stamina). People make a lot about Amir Khan's performance against Diaz, but it was better than Porter's in either fight he had with Diaz.

And people bring up the close fight with Jones like it proves that Brook is a bum, however Brook was dominating until a head clash broke his nose, but he dug deep and passed a gut check and come on strong in the final round despit swallowed a lot of blood and struggling to breath to secure the victory then handed Jones ass to him in the rematch. If anything, that should be proof that Brook is the real deal, a lot of fighters fail their first gut checks.

Brook absolutely spanks Porter, even if he's juicing.

 

And Broner, and Berto and Lacy.

 

Most of us brits who know boxing are not sure what to make of brook yet as he has not fought in world class

that his best chance to stay in a fight is to get in close in a ugly way and go to work?

that if he fights on the outside, he's likely to come unstuck due to having very little talent like in the Diaz fight?

Brook would give him a spanking and stop him round about the 8th. he's far too skilled and strong for the likes of Porter. :deal
