Because he could walk through Alexander's pitty patter punches. He won't be walking through anything that Kell throws, who is a legit puncher.
Difference is Porter will catch Brook before he catches him, I dont see Porter being so wreckless but hes proved his chin is legit whereas I dont thonk Brook's is that good
Brook doesn't want to face the best out there, he ducked fighting Timmy Bradley when offered the chance
1. Awkward PED accusation in first sentence. 2. Amir Khan got dropped and buzzed throughout the final rounds repeatedly. He looked bad. 3. I scored that fight a draw. This was back when I was sort of a Brook believer too so that fight did take a lot out of my opinion of him. I think highly of Carson Jones (saw the mighty impressive Said Ouali fight in person) but you seem to acknowledge it as a big deal by making all sorts of excuses for him. Fighters deal with comparable things almost every fight. 4. Don't see Brook being able to handle Porter at all. Brook would eat punches and look pretty bad defensively which bodes bad for him since he might match up worse with his offense to Porter's D. I think Brook has decent power though so that could be the game changer... 5. Another awkward PED accusation. Based on what? Don't you think there are plenty more fighters wildly more suspicious on paper and with physique? It's impossible to judge by that. (just assume they're all on PED's and you'll be more right than wrong)
Its a 50:50 fight in my opinion, Porter seems tougher with better stamina & aggression while Brook has the greater natural talent, speed/timing & power although Brook is lazy. This fight definately should be in the UK though, seeing as Brook sells out 10,000 arenas & Eddie Hearn has a deep stable for the undercard.
Special K makes the latest hype-job fresh off the American conveyor belt his bítch, easy work for Kell, he'll have absolutely no problem getting the job done. You can tell Devon didn't want to have to fight Special Kell, hence why he looked disinterested against Porter, almost frozen by the fear that if he won he'd have to face Brook.
funniest post. if you fight tomato cans there will never be a blueprint i could see porter exposing brook... he isn't even fit that's why his "keep busy" fight is going to be at a catch weight... if he was fit he would at least have his next fight at welterweight...
I get the feeling whoever loses this fight will be branded as an exposed hype jobs by the various kangaroo courts that adjourn after any rated fighter loses.
I'd like to see Porter-Malignaggi. . . . And, hopefully, a loss for Paulie would forever relegate him to the commentator job.
