Maidana. Porter is bigger and faster but his advantages end there. Maidana is the more spiteful puncher and has the more unpredictable angles of attack. His clubbing shots will shine over Porter's wide hooks in exchanges. ...and if they ever find themselves actually boxing, Maidana's improved jab > Porter's.
I lean towards Porter, think he's too big and too fresh for chino. Either way would be a great fight, would love to see this get made
Tough fight to call. Porter likes to rush in and fight inside but that's Maidana's cup of tea. I don't think Porter's in and out would be enough to put Maidana out. Maidana by UD. I'd love to see this fight.
Maidana by TKO or Porter by decision... Maidana will push the action and Porter will switch from his boxing after a couple rounds to his successful bumrush & hold style of fighting which he adopted of Bradley.
