I have him winning this fight. I’ve never seen Crawford as good enough to clearly beat a guy at porters level. I’m about to find out if I’ve been unfair, and if my eye is starting to slip.
I doubt it. Only on a lucky punch. I see him giving him a good fight but in this fight I can see a TKO win for Crawford maybe.
I give Porter a 20% chance of winning. In answer to the other question, yes and no. He will make it a dog fight but he will lose.
Porter always brings it and I would like him to beat Crawford but I think Crawford wins a desicion in a competitive and close fight. If Crawford actually stops Porter then I will be impressed.
Porter looks like he's in good shape. I'd love to bet on him to win because we're due another upset but he's missing a couple of pieces of the puzzle to make him a better boxer. I think he should have left his father years ago and got with someone like SugarHill. His father said he doesn't watch Crawfords fights and hasn't studied him. I think Porter will get hit after he gives Crawford some trouble for the early rounds. I hope he comes on strong and brings his a-game but he can be neutralized. Kell Brook neutralized him with a jab and clinched when he tried to get inside using his wild hooks. Thurman and Brook are smarter boxers than Porter. Spence is a smarter boxer than Porter. Porter is a great boxer but he's missing that piece of the puzzle because his style lacks a bit of refinement and can become a bit predictable. Crawford's dad alluded to Porter being a bit predictable and they know what he'll bring. It's a tough fight on paper and it wouldn't wholly surprise me if Porter wins. Porter's pressure might be Crawford's undoing but Porter often leaves himself needlessly open when he pounces inside letting Crawford land big shots.
Big call! Let’s see how it plays out. I am not making a puck in this one. For me I am in show me mode for this.
It's hard to to cheer Porter in this fight, he always gives it a good go. But from my eye I think Crawford wins a close decision.
