If Bowe wants to fight. Morrison has been fairly inactive. That would be a fairly even matchup. Maybe not a great fight with two athletes in there prime but a fair matchup.
Is there anyone Bowe was not supposed to fight? I remember a lot of names mentioned as his future opponents, but finally he fought only 3 tomato cans after his comeback in 2004... and all those fights only confirmed that he was completely shot after getting beaten by Golota and didn't get any better. He is 42 now, fat, slow and as shot as one may imagine. I understand Gomez needs some confidence builder after losing to Vitali, but that would be a farce.

I reallly, really hate the mainstream media's lack of boxing knowledge. These fighters fight their asses off for people and is it too hard to remember Bowe? He fought in the 90's and first beat Holyfield at that time Tyson was in jail everyone should know that. I hope Bowe can find peace...
Yeah this is just as ridiculous as allowing Ali comeback to fight Holmes, in that Bowe isn't fit to fight anybody anymore.
Gomez is gonna really mess him up if this happens. I really liked Bowe I hope he can just stay retired no need. He has done what ever he could have in this sport.
i saw riddick bowe here in germany and he tried to get on base to talk to the troops but he wasnt allowed.. you cant hardly understand what he's saying and nobody knew who he was except me.. he's still trying to live the past and he thinks he's famous so i made him feel special by having one of my female friends go over and ask for an autograph although he thought he could take her home but he aint a millionare any more and not famous.. the guys that were with him that were his managers are two crooked mofos that are trying to ride him.. they dont care about him his health or anything they're just using him telling him that he'll be back but he'll never be back and if he keeps fighting the only place he's going is to the hospital and the cementery :hat
