From the the Scene. Their reporting now that Mormeck has accepted the fight with Wladimir, Helenius is next in line to be the mandatory challenger for Dimintrenko's EBU belt. I think it's good that two ranked big guys could be potentially lined up for a fight, and a very intresting matchup espically in Europe. I was just hoping that both of them would end up losing to either brother next year or early 13. Just curious to see how both guys do with someone that's as tall as they are.
There'll be a bidding contest for who'll get to organize it up until October 31st. Sauerland will probably win it, they have already planned a fight card for Helsinki in December 3rd, without Helenius it wouldnt be much and no one in Finland would be interested. So either Dimitrenko backs down and loses his belt (which he could do), or Helenius-Dimitrenko is happening December 3rd in Helsinki almost certainly. For the EBU-belt (praise be to herbzg).
I think Helenius wins by ko, i watched the fight that sprott had against Dimintrenko and if sprott can hurt and wobble alexander then the "Nordic Nightmare'' will stop him late
Helenius with laughable ease... if it comes off. Can't believe I used to defend Dimentrenko. It at least looked like he had balls early in his career. Then he started turning his back on opponents and taking standing eight counts and the like.
Dimitrenko gets clobbered. Helenius's power and toughness would be way too much for a mentally fragile and physically fragile fighter like Dimitrenko to handle. 99.9% certain Helenius gets a KO if this fight comes off.
Dimitrenko is good. But was exposed by Sprott, Generally I am way more impressed with Helenius's KO's to Peter, and Liakhovich so Helenius KO 9
