Possible Hof candidates for the modern class for 2017

Last fight was in 2011 for both. Regardless of when you announce you're retirement you're on the ballot 5 years after your last fight

 

Wow, lot of good names there. Too bad Dan can only vote for 5. I'd go with 1.Evander Holyfield, 2.Marco Antonio Barrera, 3.Chris Eubank, 4.Johnny Tapia, 5. Miguel "Happy" Lora

 

I might be wrong but I think they can vote for up to 10, but only 3 get in.

 

It said on the paper he photographed that he could vote for up to five, then the names, but you are right that only three get in.

holyfield should be aloud no where near the hall of fame, the drugs cheat almost died of a heart attack he was drugged up

but at the end of the day , its the american hall of fame, that doesnt exclude drugs cheats

 

Of the three that get in, it should be Holyfield as a lock for number 1, Barrera and Eubank.

Holyfield's not only a Top 40 ATG but arguably 10th best ever on a prime H2H basis (Cruiser).
50's-80's I've always called the Golden Roid Age, just in case they were all on it and testing on top of it was so poor.
