From Sky Sports. "Former two-weight world champion Ricky Hatton is in talks about a return to the boxing ring, a decade after his last professional fight. Sky Sports understands that he is discussing the possibility of an exhibition bout later this year against fellow former multi-weight world champion Marco Antonio Barrera. Hatton has previously said that he would be open to a ring return, having seen Mike Tyson, Roy Jones Jr and Floyd Mayweather take part in lucrative events in recent years. At 43, Hatton has been keeping in shape at his gym in Hyde, where he now trains a number of fighters. Young featherweight Ibby Nadim is one of his prospects, and will fight on next week's Khan-Brook undercard." Not sure about the "keeping in shape" bit. I guess it does no harm if it's an exhibition fight, personally I think Barrera would win at this stage in their lives.
Brook v Khan not much better than this and Sly Sports are certainly out to poke the PPV Mugths with any dross that sells
Just waiting for a PPV announcement co headed by Ricky Fatton and his son Campbell soup. Marcus McDonnell the ref. Of course. £39.99. Cheaper than a night out on the town. And much more fun.
He has been keeping in shape. What shape that is i'm not too sure about. This would be a joke if it happens. There is absolutely no need or demand for it, and i doubt it would get 50K PPV buys in all honesty.
Hatton a full blown alcoholic at this stage, hope he finds it within himself to find help. God speed Hitman.
Ah Ricky needs a good hard look in the mirror. The next fight he takes could leave him brain damaged for life. Seriously
Sad. The only reason he will be contemplating a “comeback” is money because he’s skint or a **** head. Hope he finds himself and doesn’t need this.
The thought of the endless tsunami of Ricky's Bernard Manning routine in IFL interviews should be enough to make the boxing fraternity come together and have an intervention.
