For some reason its hard to gain weight and do boxing training at the same time. Is it possible for me to gain weight at this age?

Eat 4-5 times a day. Include Veggies/Fruit with every meal.

I understand that I need to eat a lot more. But my question is that is it normal to not gain much weight because of my age? Will I naturally gain weight?

If you are focused on boxing and 16, just box and you will land in most likely your best(most comfortable....) weight class...

If you're extremely active, yes. I've been eating 3000+ calories per day, but I've lost weight in the last few months. Reason being--football demands a lot of sprinting. Just eat, eat, and eat some more.

If I am understanding your question and you are asking if you will naturally gain weight from the age of 16 upwards without any specific training to aim to gain weight then most likely yes, as at 16 you are not even fully grown.

You may not get any taller but you will most likely gain phyiscal weight as your body naturally thickens out. At 16 I was so light a strong wind would blow me away. I am at least half a stone heavier than I was at age 16 and I do no training to gain mass, infact I am training for a marathon so am a lot lighter than I should be. If I didn't run so much I'd be easily a stone heavier than I was when I was 16.

Probably not healthy but i few years ago i have a diet of fry ups, microwave meals, lots of beer and late night curry's and kebabs and i stacked on the weight.

To be honest im not too sure why you would want to put on weight, if you want to be bigger than lots of protien and weights.

It's actually a point. I'm 16 and never seem to put on weight and I eat loads.

Well, I'm 16, and I watch my food and weight, because I will gain weight, not one of those lucky kids who can buy a pizza and a sub at lunch everyday and not gain weight, I fight at 132...
