Yes. Ortiz starts fast and catches a rusty Floyd hard within the first three rounds to score a knockdown, however Floyd manages to adjust after a few rounds to stop Ortiz late via corner stoppage.
No knee, he shook and lowered his glove to the canvas. Yes to the second part. I think it was round 2? Pretty obvious.
Pimp C then - Ortiz is digressing as a fighter Pimp C after Mayweather signs to fight Ortiz - Ortiz is a young hungry lion!

Typical boring Floyd domination where he fights negative and conservative but still shuts down Ortiz completely. Ortiz has no chance whatsoever in this.
Yeah, it's possible that if Ortiz starts fast and catches Floyd early, he could drop him. That's actually one of the more intriguing things about this fight. He was nearly dropped by Mosley in the second round of his last fight, and hasn't been in the ring since. And Ortiz is a hard puncher with pretty good, if not blazing hand-speed. But Floyd's been on the canvas before, and when that happened, it seemed to wake him up and compel him to re-focus. I think the same thing might apply here, assuming his skills haven't deteriorated to any great extent.
Floyd has not been on the canvas, took a knee when he hurt his hand and the glove touched when he fought Judah no real KD from a hard clean shot that hurt Floyd
I'll be supporting Ortiz and I gave him a real shot against Berto but this one is a big ask. I do agree that he can give a respectable performance and it isn't impossible though. I do think Ortiz will ask a few questions. He's stronger, more powerful and imo has underated heart.
i think ortiz has a shot of a real kd against floyd. im talking a punch landing and floyd going down.not his glove not taking a knee because he hurt his hand.im talking ass on the canvas like what bhop went through in his 1st pascal fight. ortiz has power but he does not have one ko power or he would have stopped berto i think. ortiz has power but at the sametime berto took his **** all night. the fight should be like hatton and castillo mixed, but agressive fighter is what floyd likes the best, the southpaw **** prolly throws him off a tad bit but he should be ok.
He was officially kd'd against Famaso, although he didn't take a knee as a result of a punch, but rather due to hurting his hand. Not really a kd' imo and I wasn't referring to that when I was writing the last post. Had the Judah fight in mind, since the kd against Zab was legit, in my opinion (though the epitome of a flash knockdown), because his glove did touch the mat as a result of him staggering backward from a near-perfect counter punch. That technically constitutes being knocked down, and therefore "on the canvas". But in the Judah fight, along with the Mosley and Corley fights, Floyd seemed to refocus and took the fight away from his opponents soon after being stunned. The same might hold true here, if Ortiz is unable to finish PBF soon after landing something big.
