You can learn those moves and better technique in about 2 months its not so hard I learned it from the speedbag bible it doest correlate into boxing skills though Heres Alan Kanns site I highly recommend his dvd http://www.speedbagcentral.com/ssp/speed_bag_bible
Someone had to do it [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0mJNfN7PbM&feature=channel_video_title[/ame]
thats pretty amazing. its like the freestyle football version of boxing! similar also in the fact that it by no means makes you a good boxer but is still very impressive none the less.
like I said speedbag bible I could do all that after less than 2 months, its just knowing the moves The guy that teaches it is not a boxer
The speedbag skunk is the best. Period. And by the way, that Russian coach is average at best... I'm more impressive on the speedbag that him, and that's not saying much...
I've never understood why boxers work on the bag. Well, OK maybe it's better than nothing, something to do in the gym when 2 other guys are using the ring, but I'm still waiting to see an actual match in which one opponent moves his head like a speed bag. The best hand-eye training (specifically for boxing) that I've ever seen was that contraption Evander Holyfield used to use. Remember? It was basically a boxing dummy on a stand, with motors to make it move & (IIRC) punch like a real human. Evander spent countless hours in front of it, practising defense & counter-punching. (I wonder if there's a video of that somewhere?)
