I'd like to be able to say that you could also visit a chinese restaurant on the Old Kent Road that has a Chinese Elvis impersonator singing but unfortunately that has gone now, I still shed a tear about this every so often.

Last tube from North Greenwich is 23.39 and there's one every 4 minutes before then.

If the fight starts about 10.10 it should be done and dusted and scores announced by 11.15.

If it were me I'd be on my toes for that tube. And would go somewhere around London Bridge area - it's only 8 minutes on the tube from the arena. So no wasting an hour faffing around in cabs. You could switch for northern line at London Bridge and go to Camden, or go West End, or East London line to Shoreditch, depending what's still running.

It's sheer idiocy not to lay on a later tube or two OR get the events done by 11pm because the arena is really out on a limb, nothing nearby.

Bumping this thread in light of this afternoons activity, avoid drinking in Woolwich after the fight, although I could have told you that anyway!

If you guys need to get into central London after the fight the 188 bus runs 24/7 from north Greenwich bus station into central London.

They have now (sort of), last tube towards Stratford (eastbound) is now 1.02, although the last one westbound is 12.20 so that relies on an early KO which probably isn't happening.

I'm in Stratford, which is ruddy grim but at least I can get the tube back afterwards!
