Post fight interview: I miss Larry Merchant and his "P" word

    I think the showtime post fight interviewer is lame. Larry Merchant's interview is always a classic especially if he's interviewing Mayweather-- throwing that Mayweather's dreaded "P" word (Pacquiao) everytime, and always asking the hard questions.

    Last night, the interviewer looks like he's afraid to offend Mayweather-- u know-- looks like he's afraid to lose his job.

    When mayweather fights, its a 99% guarantee to be boring and a snoozefest, but at least u can wake up at the post fight interview and says "Ooohh, here comes Larry" !!

    These guys are clowns. These guy forget Jim Grey is the one nobody wants to interview with. The guy holds nothing back. Ask Pete Rose (which subsequently caused Jim Grey his job on the major networks). Larry is a kitten compared to Grey.

    What is the "P" word, do you mean "z z Z .. ?"

    Jim Grey is a good interviewer.

    iirc, he kept at it with Juanma Lopez and his 'gambling addicted ref' line to make sure what JML said he meant.

    That's what you call getting owned right there.

    Oh and to the TS, Pacquiao is out of the discussion because he has lost 2, arguably 3 out of his last 3 fights, the last resulting in him brutally being knocked out.
