Yeah OK then, a 38 year old Shane Mosley coming off a 16 month lay-off is the very best version of Shane Mosley that was ever inside a boxing ring. He had the exact same stamina and energy levels he had in the late 1990s. Yawn.

I also said Floyd would win by wide UD, but I disagree that Floyd "figured Shane out in the early rounds", there was nothing to figure out as far as I could see, Shane fought like he has been doing for the last few years, using a weak pawing jab and looking for a big overhand right. Floyd was much faster than him, and Shane soon ran out of steam and ideas. I also disagree that everyone's workrate drops when they fight Floyd, because guys like Jesus Chavez and Jose Luis Castillo threw many, many punches against Floyd because they backed him up and fought smart. Shane tried to take Floyd on in the centre of the ring, where he was hopelessly outclassed because PBF is much quicker and more skilled than him.

I know... some people cant separate their hearts from their heads when discussing a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight.... either that or they genuinely dont understand the sport.

Mayweather is superior to Pacquiao & would beat him convincingly, maybe even stop his ragged, wild ass late on.... tho my money would be on an 8/4 or 9/3 type decision, he`s too good for Manny, always has been.

pac will beat floyd. he aint no old man or bloated marquez. speed, angles, southpaw, stamina, power and heart. all the intangibles needed to beat floyd, so you fans saying floyd will win easy beacause of this and that, need to realise the only way to see is in the ring.

He was nowhere near getting knocked out. Down yes, out no.

Actually, Hatton threw only 372 punches in the 10 rounds against Mayweather, compared to Mosley's 452 in 12.

Oscar threw 587, still not enough, but Mayweather did allow him to constantly pump the jab early and get him on the ropes and throw combinations to the body.

Castillo managed 506 in the first fight and a very similar number in the rematch.

Chavez throw tonnes because Mayweather brawled with him and was always in range for Chavez to throw punches.

As you can see, Mosley's output really wasn't that much lower than any of those apart from Chavez for obvious reasons. The problem is, Mayweather does not provide an inviting target, and therefore punch out-puts for his opponents tend to drop because he's always in the position to drop out of range and make you miss or counter and they are wary of giving him countering opportunities.

:good Floyd deserves PROPS! He did what he was suppose to do and did it better than I expected. YES....I had Floyd pegged as the winner long before the fight happened and YES....I pegged Floyd winning by a wide UD and YES...i said Floyd would get hurt....but I thought Shane would be a harder challenge for at least 4 or 5 rounds before FLoyd began to dominate. Floyd began dominating after round 2!

I think Floyd did extremely well and he actually stood there in front of shane like James Toney and wanted to go toe to toe when he wanted. Which is far more than he's done with guys like Shane in the past. I enjoyed the fight even though it was all one sided for the most part...it was like Manny over Josh except for the fact that Shane actually hurt his opponent in the loss.
