Wladimir lost and Fury opened the gate.

Now we're just in the beginning of the post Klitschko era. The first wave of Fury's Joshua, Parker etc has already hit the coastline and the second wave; mostly of Sirenko, Hrgovic, Uzyk, Teslenko etc is building up.

Which group do you think will do better in the end?

Will Joshua be a long time champion like Klitschko?

Second wave is the better potential imo.

As for AJ having the longevity of Wlad I honestly cannot see it.

The jury is still out on Joshua.

    * Much depends on his mental toughness. Does he have the discipline to stay away from partying, drugs and alcohol?
    * Can he consistently push through his pain threshold in terms of diet, daily workouts and cardiovascular regime?
    * How is his mental setup dealing with being at the top? Can he remain focused even when the spotlight is shining on him and he is considered a wide favorite?

Joshua will go longer undefeated than Wlad did and against better opposition . Pulev is a good marker fight in itself .This fight will show how good Joshua can be with like caliber guys. Pulev is more experienced now and is aware of getting knocked out,hes a top 3 Klitchko opponent and Joshua will only be at 20 fights far from his actual peak. Klitchko fought Pulev at his peak.

I think AJ stops Pulev in 3, max 5 rounds. And Pulev is better than Whyte. AJ has clearly improved since 2015, and defensively, too.

Joshua shows real dedication to the sport of boxing, i dont think he lives that drugs and alcohol lifestyle to the extreme. Hes a multi millionaire now hes set for life, the fact he is still showing the dedication of a hungry challenger shows just where his mental situation is at. For me Joshua ticks all the boxes INCLUDING the chin and heart test. The punch that put him down is the same punch that was putting people away for the past decade. He carrys power from Round 1-12. Its going to take either a Hasim Rahman vs Lewis KO to defeat him or a extremely talented boxer who can match him in size and speed.

I dont think Tyson Fury is the man to beat him especially not after all this time out although hes probably the only man on the World Scene that has the best chance due to the awkwardness and size.. Hes getting better and better improving fight by fight, if he can keep hold of this titles for another 8,9,10 fights, tighten up that defence, you are going to have a monster of a man because at the minute i think he has holes in that defence which could be exploited.

Head and shoulders above all the other Heavyweights out there at the minute. The only man that can beat him is himself.

    This:deal:

And Joshua’s style isn’t suited for longevity. He’ll get clipped by one of the talents of that 2nd wave. Heck he even admitted he’ll lose eventually in a recent interview.

joshua is too big for longevity. injuries to come, size inflicted ones too, being outsized for a cardio sport.

on his side is a late start.

The second wave will likely be better. Joshua is good, heart and technique. But he's got some very slow feet, for a man that ran track. Too big. If a good jabber mover comes around he might have problems. I think he beats Pulev, Wilder (easy) and probably has decent run. Not a Wlad level run but good. Time will tell

Joshua is the best of the bunch for now, but even he said he would be lucky to have half the career of Wlad.

I think the second wave on the way up is better than the champions now.
