What people have to remember, is that Hatton, Margo, Cotto, even DLH, are aggressive fighters, so in those fights Manny was able to employ a strategy where he worked his offense off their offense, but against Mayweather he would most probably have to come foward and set up his own offense, now given that he does not have a particularly good jab, does not seem that effective at cutting the ring off, that Mayweather greatest asset IMO, is he legs, I dont think he would get off consistently enough, and I think he would get hit with the cleaner shots as he tries to apply pressure.

Mayweather would neutralize him completely if he could back Manny up, cause he would just dictate from behind the stick, counter punch him off the front foot as he tried to move on, then again, backing Manny up is not so easy.

Mayweather might get hit more than usual, but I dont think Pac would get enough done consistently to win the fight, and his own defense would lose him the fight to imo.

Pacquiao is not a one-punch puncher at the higher weights - he is an accumulative puncher. It's the blistering combinations that they don't see that do the damage not one big punch. If Manny can only land one or two punches with each combination on Floyd he's not going to win that way.

Before Nov 13, i though PBF wins, possibly via schooling but after Nov 13, i think Pacman KOs Floyd. Pacman showed that he can take punches from legit WWs. PBF's 1 or 2 pot shots won't be enough to keep Pacman at bay. We saw what a south paw with hand speed who is aggressive can do to Floyd (Judah). Pacman is Judah but 10 times better. That shell defense only works for so many punches.

Judah wasn't aggressive, if anything he had success cause he made Mayweather take the lead by waiting on him, playing counter puncher. Difference between Pac and Judah, is that Pac is a more willing to come foward, which is probably where he will play into Mayweather's hands, cause Mayweather will want to counter punch rather than lead. What you say about his shell defense is true, but that is why he want stand around giving Manny a stationary target, why he will use his legs whilst countering.

I don't discount the possibility that PBF can win, possibly even via schooling but i think the more likely scenario is Pacman via KO. Yeah, if PBF's counter game works to perfection and he times Pacman coming in almost every time, he might even KO Pacman. But that's asking for a lot. He will have to be almost perfect to keep Pacman at bay for 12 rounds. I don't think he can. At some point, Pacman's combinations are going to start landing. And once those combinations start landing and PBF starts to feel some of the effects and slows down a bit, it becomes even easier for Pacman to tee off on him. That's when he won't see some of those punches coming and it's over shortly from there.

this is the most likely scenario for you?????

i think this is the only way for Pac to win this match is by KO....he doesnt get a KO he doesnt win for me.

Can he get a TKO/KO i think its well within the realm of possibilities but not likely for me.

Also he doesnt need to be perfect to keep Pac at bay...Pac is not a stalker....Floyd just needs to keep proper distance and Pac doenst get the opportunity to mount a very effective offense. Floyd can strike first at his range while Pac will have to work hard often times exposing himself to get into his range to strike.

You speak as if Floyd Mayweather isnt in great condition like Pac who also can go 12 rounds with ease.....Floyd can keep Pac at bay at will simply by space and foot work....your sadly mistaken if you think Pac will get off those combinations on Floyd likeyour used to seeing all night. When Pac does get that opportunity to throw combos you better believe Floyd's defense will keep him in position to fire strong countr shots turning a possible 6 hit combo into a less effective 3 or 4 combo try.

Im sorry your love for Pac is blinding you from how good Floyd actually is....you keep saying Floyd tiring...not likely...this will not be a grueling fight...thats not how Floyd fights this will not be hands being let go...again not how Floyd fights...all that you have seen Pac do with fighters again who stand there and dont know how to control the ring...Floyd will control tempo and the ring...mark my words....when he does...Pac's output will drop and those opportunities to land a big shot become smaller.

From there he just gets picked apart when trying to figure out just how he can get in close to get his offense off...you think he doesnt think about defense now...wait till he gets desperate to get his offense off which he will...and Floyd will pick him apart all night because he disregards defense so much.

if floyd goes toe to toe, he will lose the fight or get knocked out but if he potshots and runs, he will win a UD. Roach should make a way how to exploit floyd's potshotting.:)

Full credit to Pacman for another fine win. I like and appreciate him though I am a PBF man. PBF skills mean he will stop Pacman. That is not to dimish Pacman's achievements.

Dude, Floyd's legs aren't what they used to be. He fights mostly flat footed. He is almost 34. Pacman is far superior over PBF in the foot speed department. This isn't a predictable Hatton attacking him or a slow and smaller JMM coming after him. This is Pacman. His foot speed is out of this world. His foot speed and blazing combinations have been too much for his opponents for a reason. No one can keep him at bay.

Like i said above, i don't discount the possibility of a PBF win via schooling as he is great but i pick Pacman via KO.

Floyd has one every fight he's had. It would be unwise for me to doubt him now because Manny beat a fighter that everyone knew he would beat. Manny has not beating anyone that Floyd could not. So My bet is still on Mayweather.

The difference between PBF and Margarito is like night and day should not be the basis of a change of opinion.
