He savagely avenged his beating years later against a guy way older and who had taken SEVERAL beatings since he fought him. That is not avenging your losses. Lennox Lewis avenged his losses in the very next fight with Rahman, and convincingly.

Wlads is a good all around fighter, he does have a weak chin and questionable stamina. He is the best heavywieght in a very unpopular division, its hard to say how good Wlad really is until he fights someone really good, its just too bad theres no one out there thats really good anymore.

I have too, and what you're saying is that a more skilled smaller guy can win a fight. Sure. But size does matter very much when the skill level is close.

The Wlad (LL too) haters will either say size does not matter too much after some unkown level... or just run down the "weak" era. It's become so lame and boring. I know some ESBers are just nostalgic for the "old" days, but many critics of the current HW scene are driven by racism or nationalism or both. Lovely :verysad

Oh, a few years later this next big thing in the HW div. (Brew) was all washed up :huh BG, you obviously hate Peter, and don't think much of Wlad. I think you're part of the ESB nostalgic brigade - instead of the racist/nationalist clowns on here.
Well, the former is better than the latter :deal

Please define "way older" because that first fight wasn't that long ago.............

:rofl I couldn't have said it better.

Here's another one. Put those glasses on and you see one baaaaaddd bruthuh who can KO any HW today. Take them off and you see a decent sized, in good shape, irritated black dude. I see this every day in my area. I don't see too many Wlads

Please. One left hook from Liston and that poor excuse for a chin will shatter. How embarassing, a guy who is 8 foot 10 has an egg shell for a chin.

That's just biased bull****. Claiming to be an Ali fan and then saying Ali struggled with jabbers? Is that right :nut

I suggest you watch the Norton fights again, it wasn't the jab that Ali had problems with, it was the unorthodox style. WALDO is about as orthodox as it comes, and would have been eaten up, chewed up, and ****ed up badly.

Yep. Spot on. It was the unorthodox come forward pressure of both Norton and Frazier that troubled a less mobile Ali.

Jabbers? Hell, look at what he did to Liston. Carved him up.

Learn some boxing, stop with this Norton - Ali crap. Just bringing that up shows you are clueless

Read, watch, Listen do whatever you want to do. Coz what you say is ****...Reallly **** its infuriating.

By the way, heres boxing lesson 101. Ask your friendly neighborhood boxing expert..Ask him/her about Listons jab.. Ask them if its any good.

Cooney was a poor mans WALD?? Is that right? I'd love to see WALD go 13 rounds or so with Larry Holmes.....wouldn't happen, especially if Holmes knew WALD was chinny (which he is)

:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

BUT HE NEVER REMATCHED THEM WHEN IT MATTERED.

Also he lost to an already over the hill Sanders anyway.....hell I'd bet WALD would KO Ali in 1 round if they fought tomorrow, guess that makes him the better fighter eh? :nut
