you've just emphasised my point.no class whatsoever.a plain unadulterated ist class dickhead.i don't have any "gods" and as for joe frazier i admire him as much as ali, because you see i'm a boxing fan, don't go in for the juvenile "if your a fan of that one then you must hate the other one" routine.that's the preserve of the 14 year olds.see ya junior:hi:
You can try to rationalise it all you like, but your remark about Ali was way, way out of line. Frazier is way out of line too, especially when he considers himself to be a good Christian - but he has good reason to despise Ali, that much cannot be denied. You are just a WALD nut-hugging moron that decided to use a cheap shot and didn't like it when you got one back.
Agreed. Of course there's no danger of us ever being able to mock WALD when he hits middle age - every time he gets hit hard he goes down faster than a cheap Thai *****. And people are still voting for him to beat Ali :rofl :rofl :rofl
Well said, its only a matter of time before that weak chin implodes, trust me my friend I will have a front row seat when it happens.:good
A front row seat at the fight, or on here? I think this place will be far more entertaining - there'll be a lot of people registering new usernames that night I suspect. The amusing thing to all us 'hatters' is that we all know it's coming, even in this pile of **** that is the heavyweight division, someone will come along and bounce that clown out inside 2 rounds again and all these 'size is everything' morons will just shut the **** up. Permanently. :happy
A front row seat at my house probably, I will more and likely spill beer all over myself in excitement. Before I came on this site I didnt like Wlad, since I been on this site I hate Wlad. Some of these Wlad fans thinks he invincible or something, his ass been on the canvas more times than anyone in the top 10, probably even top 20. When Wlad beats someone thats actually good and is able to take some punches then I will give him some props, until then I refuse too.
Valuev is in a league by himself, so he may be coming forward. He'd still lose, probably by KO. Peter? Are you serious? George would back Sam up from the opening bell and KO him in ONE! And as far as George's power being over-rated, how long have you watched the sport? Watch Foreman-Frazier (1). Have you ever seen anyone else launch his opponent accross the ring with a punch?
It's a bit stupid to HATE a guy you've never met just because some of his more delusional fans overrate him. He's the best heavywt of the present, by a wide margin. But he's not a top 10 alltime and would have , at best, a 1% chance against Ali. Then again, I remember haters in the 60s who couldn't wait for the greatest to lose. So maybe anti-fan wish is not a new phenomenon.
I picked Ali by KO, but I have to admit he might have had to settle for a UD if Klitschko managed to keep his composure and clinched in the rough spots, klitschko would definately be able to muscle ali in the clinches, usually one of Ali's strong points, also I don't see Ali neccesarily scoring a one punch knock out either, If klitschko tries to steamroll Ali early, then he gets TKO'd in the late running, if he boxes and moves and clinches and really takes advantage of his strength and size advantage, I think he could survive 12 round, maybe even 15 rounds without too much danger, but without much chance of winning a decision
I dont hate Wlad, I strongly dislike him. He is the best right now, which isnt saying much. I would like to see Wlad in a competitive fight were he has to dig down deep to survive, I hope that days coming soon because Im really getting bored watching the heavywieght division anymore.
Ohh boy yourself. Take a look in the mirror if you want to see a total 100% imbecile. If I was talking to you, I'd say this real s-l-o-w so you might understand my point. Here goes. The Wlad haters on here say he: is a coward, has a "glass jaw", is gay, and suffers from panic attacks, which is just another way of saying he's a coward. I don't understand why this educated (for a fighter very much so) man who does real charity work is so despised by a@@holes like you. Few here will ever accomplish what he has. If you were fair, and you're not, you will know that I seldom go out of my way to denigrate a fighter - never mind not attack posters family members. Most boxers that are willing to enter the ring and fight are much less cowards than 95+% of the poster here, and I don't give a rats ass who agrees or disagrees with me. Wlad does not have a great chin but he hardly has a "glass jaw". The ability to take a punch to the jaw is largely genetic. There have been some very good discussions about this on ESB over the years. Instead of showing what an ass you are, maybe you should study the medical science of punch resistance. Why a fighter like Chuvalo, who faught and took many head shots for nearly 20 years sounds coherent in his later years while others sound like zombies. Ali's disease was most likely caused by a genetic proclivity and the effects of his profession. As for clinching due to panic attacks. The great Ali seemed to have many panic attacks too while fighting Frazier, Norton, and others. He employed the clinch early and often against many opponents. This is a well known fact by all but moronic hero worshippers like you. Norton complained about Ali's holding in the 70s. I noted Ali's condition - and I stand by it - to show loons like you that he is a human being, not some myth ... just like Wlad Ali was a great fighter in his era. As is Wlad in this era. The only thing you got right in your post was that his condition was accelerated by hanging around too long. Which in the final analyis was his fault. Same for the Quarry's and others. If they kept fighting because promoters and managers ripped them off, then that's a shame on boxing. But many of these guys (Holy) just don't know when to quit :-(
Wlad's chin = poor. An alternate term for "poor" in relation to a chin = glass. ESB lingo 101. What are you talking about with the panic attacks? Clearly that's not directed at me because I have no idea what you're talking about. And I beg to differ on Ali's conditon being a result of him hanging around too long. Considering his motor skills started to deteriorate in the late 70s, around 76 or so from memory. It was a result of going 41 rounds with Joe Frazier, and going toe-to-toe with Foreman and Shavers, as well as Foster, Quarry, Lyle, Liston etc., all enormous punchers. By 78, signs of Parkinsons were there. By the Holmes fight, it was ridiculous how advanced it was and he was still fighting. Thus it wasn't fighting too long, it was fighting the biggest punchers in history, toe-to-toe, time and time again. I really don't understand the point of your post, considering I was having a go at you over what you said about Ali's condition: "But here's one that's based on naked truth. How embarrassing, to be consisered (by some) as the GOAT HW to be shuffling around by middle age like a 90 year old, barely able to talk above a whisper :verysad" And you go off on a tangent about Wlad having panick attacks. atsch You shouldn't have a go at someone with health problems, especially when it's a direct result of giving boxing fans such great memories.
Are you Vlad lovers idiots. Vlad looked like a total ****** against TOS because his opponent was moving. Vlad even got dropped. Tos is actually about Ali's size. This is a terrible match up for Vlad because the 2 decent opponents that moved on him gave him big problems. TOS and Sanders. Vlad loses badly Pre Exile and loses a UD 71-73
Yes, he did. Williamson is actually not really known for being a boxer that moves around like that on his toes, but he worked with his trainer just to able to do that against Wlad. This fight happend after the Brewster knockout, so some will say his confidence was low coming in. Williamson plan was to take the fight into later rounds where he would have his way, too bad it was stopped early because of the cut.
