First of all Wlad is retired if you haven't realised it yet, Haye was leading on points against Bellew, it's not my opinion, it's a fact and most people thought he would have won the fight without the injury, one bad performance especially when he most likely would have won the fight is not enough to completely remove him from the list, i rather have Haye in my list than guys like Hughie Fury, Wach, Ruiz jr etc., guys who haven't shown that they are top 10 material.
Maybe they haven't but neither have they list to a guy who Haye instigated a fight with then lost, the fact you have Haye in there when he hasn't had a relevant victory since Chisora and it's a victory that let's be honest isn't all that good in the grand scheme of things and not the guy who beat him says alot. As for Wlad, don't you know I'm the biggest Klitturd on here?.....I was being hypothetical in regards to Wlad and AJ.
Definitely. But he hasn't done enough (or anything really) in the last five years to warrant a top ten ranking at this moment in time. That can change on a dime though depending on his next fight. I'd personally love to see him win a world title again which is why I'll be backing Hughie to UD Parker.
Personally i think Haye's win against Chisora was really impressive especially when you consider that he fought against a motivated prime Chisora and knocked him out within 5 rounds, he is the only one who knocked Chisora out by the way who has one of the best chins in the heavyweight division, also his performance against Wlad wasn't that bad when you compare his performance with Povetkin's and Pulev's performances against Wlad. Come back to me when Haye has lost his next fight, if not you can assume that he is still in my top 10.
LOL, lists are subjective, me personally wouldn't have Haye in there because he's done nothing post Wlad....BUT, if you where to put him then Bellew belongs in there aswell.
You're right, if i would make my ranking like Boxrec simply on statistics, Bellew would have to be in my list but i take more things into consideration, i can't rate Bellew as a top 10 fighter when he would lose to everyone in my list and Haye would beat Bellew 10 out of 10 times without injury imo. Remember Vitali Klitschko lost to Chris Byrd due to injury, i bet you didn't rate Chris Byrd above Vitali because he beat him.
Maybe not but Byrd and Vitali were at that point beating top opposition, the same cannot be said of Haye.
I know but it's the same principle, i would still favour Haye against the likes of Whyte, Breazeale and Miller even though he looked bad against Bellew, he usually is better than those guys.
My words are failing me... lemme try something else... ... ... Edit: You know what? That was rude, apologies. Allow me to logically explain why Stiverne doesn't warrant a place anywhere near the top ten now that my words have returned to me. Half of this thread has been spent discussing whether or not Haye deserves a place in the top ten based on his natural talent when fully fit. Stiverne has less natural talent in his entire body than Haye does in his little toe and in the time since Stiverne last went life and death with a journeyman, Haye has KO'd two opponents of a similar level to Rossy without even breaking a sweat.
I'm getting annoyed seeing how many are saying Wilder should drop belt to duck Pulev, so I'm going to bump this and the Pulev resume v Wilder resume thread to reinforce how clear and concensus it is that AJ is WAY ahead of everyone else, and how the next 5(Pulev Povetkin Wilder Ortiz and Parker) are all huddled together at the next two down. Pulev is as credible any of them for a defense. As boxing fans, we should all want that next teir to face each other to make an AJ fight more interesting and more equal in resume
1. ? The best need to fight each other first to determine a real number one. 2. Wilder, Ortiz, Parker 3. Parker, Browne, Povetkin 4. Ruiz, Charles Martin, Pulev, Breazeale, Miller, Kownacki, Whyte
