Something like that.Jones although obviously number 1 H2H didnt achieve much at the weight, same with Toney so you just cant have them higher. Collins just misses out for Froch and Ottke. Anyone saying Benn and Eubank dont deserve to be there is a yank with clear bias or a short memory.

Thanks mate, you're a great poster yourself.

Most of my posts contain factual information, with my opinions thrown in.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and if I don't agree, I respect it, and take it on board.

But these guys on here, try and argue against factual information.

I try to be objective, and tell it how it is. But it upsets the hardcore Calzaghe fans. But the thing is, i've never in any post, said that he wasn't a great fighter.

Joe won his micky mouse belt from Eubank in 1997.

In 1999 he turned down an opportunity to go to the U.S. after Lou De Bella had opened the door for him.

He also said in 1999, "Be honest, Roy Jones is a good fighter, and I'm not chasing him." "I don't want tough fights, I just want to be well paid."

In 2002, he made the crown jewels comment.

I never minded Joe asking for the crown jewels to fight Roy. But here's the thing. He was never in a position to be asking for them.

This is what you don't understand. It was totally unrealistic on his behalf.

He was a great fighter. But, he wasn't well known outside of Europe ten years ago. He hadn't fought in America, and the casual PPV fans had hardly seen him fight. They'd only seen bits and pieces of him in action, like his fights with Rick Thornberry and Will McIntyre.

So HBO were never going to pay him the crown jewels, and nobody else was either.

If he wanted the crown jewels, and a shot at Roy, he had to go over to America, build up his profile, and stir up interest in the fight.

But he wasn't willing to do any of the above.

He likes to play the victim, saying he was avoided, and if they'd have paid him what he wanted etc, he'd have loved the fight. It's all bull****, because he wasn't worth millions, and he knows it.

Why would Roy, in 2002, be bothered about a guy from Wales, that held the WBO belt, that wasn't even in his weight class?

The worlds best fighter, and unified 175 champ, isn't going to be bothered about a European 168 guy.

What would Roy have gained from the fight?

There was no money in it.

Again, nobody knew a lot about Joe.

Roy at the time was at 175, and also had an eye on going up to heavy.

He certainly wouldn't have been bothered about Joe's belt.

So what was in it for Roy?

In 2003, he fought Ruiz for $17m

How would Roy have had home advantage? Joe refused to go to America. Remember he was scared of flying. He had two or three opportunites to go to the U.S. but he never did til 2008.

Why would Roy want to get into the ring with him?

Who was Joe in 2002?

To force the fight, Joe could have moved up to Roy's weight class. But did he do that? NO!

He could have gone to America to show his abilities. Did he do that? NO!

It makes me laugh when you think Roy ducked him. It wasn't a duck.

He wasn't interested, because Joe wasn't relevant outside of Britain.

On the Tyson undercard, against Will McIntyre, he said he was looking for big fights against Hopkins and Roy.

Do you know what he did after he made that statement?

He stayed at 168 and fought,

Charles Brewer in Cardiff.

Miguel Jiminez in Cardiff.

Tocker Pudwell in Newcastle.

So you explain to me,

how fighting the likes of Jiminez at home at 168, was going to get him a shot at the worlds best fighter up at 175 in America?

Why don't you try taking on board what I've typed?

Your post says that Roy avoided Joe, and Joe wanted the fight.

However,

My post has facts that include:

Comments from Joe, saying he that he WASN'T chasing Roy! (if you want the link, you can have it.)

Asking for stupid money, when he'd acomplished nothing on the world stage.

Then you call Roy a coward,

while Joe was fighting Evans Ashira, Jiminez and Sugar Ray Pudwell in Britain Ha!
