Tyson doesnt even flinch! and to think, just one of those punches put Dokes to sleep for about 10 minutes. Shame 5 years later, he was getting Kod by feather fisted Holyfield.
This is the one I immediatly came to think of (2:56): [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijZqroT1Kr4[/ame] Such beauty.
Must give a shout to man also (very underrated combination puncher): [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKlxiNol-9M&feature=related[/ame] (Every combination shown here really but especially the one at 1:07) [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oD99VbFzqAg[/ame]
One of my favorite knockouts ever, the sensational devastation that was Michael Spinks over Gerry Cooney. Check out Mike's wild combinations, particularly around the 5:00 mark. Viciously spectacular combinations from an underated ATG. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVEjDrprcHY[/ame]
Some of the firepower unleashed here from 1:37-1:54 against a Max Baer who had pinned him to the ropes with huge shots. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sv1ph-Ecf0[/ame]
The sequence from 1:28-1:37 is ****ing mindblowing IMO. Not as devastating as the other one but i'll be damned if those shots werent accurate, varied, explosive, and incurred no counters...
his punches are so ****ing short its incredible he gets the power and leverage out of them that he does. probably more than any fighter in history, he shows the value and impact that technique can have on a fighters power
Agreed, maybe my favourite of Louis's career. He looks like Napoles in there, especially how he slides away after the last left hook. The Baer fight in general is his greatest display, in my opinion.
1:28-1:30 in that video is my single combo by Louis. Beautifully precise, perfect leverage, every punch is damn hard, and the whole sequence comes so quickly that there's no way to interrupt it once he starts. The Ali combo after Williams misses the big left hook/uppercut is one of the sweetest that I've ever seen. And to cure the lack of JMM in this thread: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0c2lXEpFxk[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3v6cpfF8D_U[/ame] (Despite the music the second video has a lot of good moments, but my favorite is 1:24-1:28 )
