Rewatch It with no commentary. It warrants a draw a billion times more than their first fight.

The BS judging In big fights Is enough to put anyone off the sport.

Which was a unbelievably low punch out put for GGG. He usually lands 250 or so. That wasn't a unusual amount for Canelo recently though. Thats why i suspected GGG might beat Canelo, because his power, Durability, skills and punch output. Canelo was very beatable tonight. Even on one of Golovkins worst nights he was more of a threat to Canelo than Fielding, Smith, Kovalev, Yildrim, Saunders, and Plant. Canelo's power couldnt faze GGG.

Bivol and Beterbiev would have stopped that Canelo tonight. 110%.

That version of Canelo would have lost to Andrade imo.

I think Golovkin could have taken him if he was just a little lighter, or if GGG just started earlier. Golovkin had an old George Foreman affect this fight, powerful, Durable, but not quite fast enough. Canelo was there for the taking for GGG late. It was a dramatic fight for Canelo, he almost cried after the fight, GGG was a real threat. I loved the respect they both gave each other after the fight.

This is exactly what I was thinking when watching the fight tonight.

I think GGG was trying to line up Canelo for the big shot, as Foreman did to Moorer.

I also liked the respect after the fight. Great trilogy between two legends.

It did remind me of Foreman vs Moorer. Canelo has been a huge puncher at supermiddle but Golovkin was like a tank and he was just brushing Canelo's punches off like they were almost nothing. That made Canelo nervous, that and the power. He was thankful for the win.

I just went back and watched the 6th and 8th to make sure I wasn't crazy... nope, GGG definitely won both.

The rounds people are giving GGG were very close and are by no means descisive. Canelo won his rounds clearly.

9 and 11 for GGG. Not completely sure that he actually deserved 9 with his late surge in the round, but I gave it to him any way.

I gave the rest to Canelo, but 12 seemed like it could have been a draw and maybe also 1.

    7-5 Canelo for me.

There's more of a case for this being a draw than the 1st fight.

The commentary was about as bad as it gets ( the UK one I had on ), they essentially used Canelo as a muse for 3/4's of the fight, as if this was some type of study of Canelo rather than a fight with 2 combatants.

I was actually pleasantly surprised with the cards, as they actually had GGG one round from a draw, which given the previous fight's scorecards, and the ridiculous Bivol cards which had Canelo 1 round from a draw himself, had me thinking I'd hear near shutout cards.

    8-4

I gave Canelo the first 8.

This is like Hoya vs Tito, but only this time the right result.

In the 3rd or 4th round Canelo threw a right hand the missed by a mile. The commentator then said great right hand by Canelo.

That is how insanely bias they were. Calling shots that missed by a mile as landed.
