Wilder is becoming well-known. He has a top promoter in Golden Boy (talented HWs like Perez and Dinu who have no promoter or a poor promoter decline due to inactivity and end up going nowhere). And Wilder is gifted with tremendous one-punch KO power.

I do realize he's unproven, but he's now so RELEVANT in the heavyweight division, I thought by now he belongs near the bottom of the top ten list.

Promoters are not out there for charitable work, they look for the best boxers & sign them up. Thats why GBP signed Wilder, not Pulev or Dinu

Because it isn't as if there aren't other top tier promoters out there in other countries. The Wildboys are coming I guess.

The idea is simple, the biggest promoters with the most resources, will pick the most talented fighters they can pick. Its not an emotional decision :yep , Wilder is just the best contender the Heavyweight division has ever had in the 21st century thats why they signed him up.

Because companies like Sauerland and Top Rank are such small shop promotions. You really know nothing of this sport, do you?

Top Rank is focused on other projects, mainly China. Sauerland is a force in Europe, they still didn't expand globally...I don't mind them signing up Mexicans & Ricans, maybe they should start doing that...If they have the resources to expand

Top Rank & GBP are good examples of promotional companies with a true global reach.

Anyone who has Arreola, Mitchell, Wilder, or Jennings in the top 10
is a biased yank, there is no way they deserve to be in the top 10

Solis is very close to the top 10 but his inability to get in shape is insulting to me as a boxing fan. It's your only ****ing job, how hard can it be to stay in shape?

You just don't get it. Sauerland dominates the European market and broadcasts globally, they are on the same level as Top Rank and GBP. And, arguably, Top Rank and Sauerland have done a better job of molding champions than GBP.

I don't mind how GBP takes risks sometimes...example Mares fight...I just never felt the influence as Sauerland, as I follow boxing globally on all divisions & 11/16 divisions of boxing Welter & under, I only see Top Rank & GBP covering globally, all across the scale
