Post your current top ten P4P list. 1. Manny Pacquiao 2. Guillermo Rigondeaux 3. Roman Gonzalez 4. Wladimir Klitschko 5. Floyd Mayweather Jr 6. Juan Manuel Marquez 7. Gennady Golovkin 8. Andre Ward 9. Tim Bradley 10. Carl Froch (honorable mention for future consideration: Sergey Kovalev, Bernard Hopkins, Kell Brook, Terence Crawford, Canelo Alvarez, Jhonny Gonzalez, Takashi Uchiyama, Mikey Garcia, Danny Garcia, Donnie Nietes and Juan Francisco Estrada) * Pacquaio looked very good in his last fight, dominating a top 10 P4P opponent * Roman Gonzalez is underrated and in his prime * Andre Ward hasn't fought in nearly a year and has no good wins in a long time * Rigondeaux outboxes his opponents without a home ref and extra padding in his opponents' gloves * Floyd has a MD and a mediocre UD over a five-loss limited fringe contender. Floyd made the opponent wear gloves with extra padding, used an extra big ring so he could run and had a home ref to protect him - if Floyd is P4P #1, then Sven Ottke is the GOAT.
Top ten P4P. Floyd may be the favorite of some like Pimp C, but if you look at it objectively, he's not the best.
Not the best yet you have Pac ranked #1 the same guy who was put into a coma by a 40 year old JMM.:rofl Undefeated in 3 different decades been in the top 10 P4P since 99. He is the best until proven otherwise troll.:deal
As good as Ward is, he doesn't deserve #2 ranking anymore. He still belongs top 10 but I don't know where and I don't know who should be second.
Floyd struggled against a 5-loss fringe contender, needed a shady home ref's protection, demanded that the opponent wear gloves with extra padding, and demanded that the ring be extra large. Maidana was fighting away from his home country in Floyd's home town of Las Vegas. Pac never demands his opponents wear gloves with extra padding and never has a shady ref to protect him. In his last fight, he travelled across the ocean and dominated a top 10 P4P opponent in that fighter's HOME COUNTRY.
Good list. I hate Floyd but its hard to argue he isnt p4p number one till he actually loses. Just ignore the TS, he sits on these forums day in and day out trying to discredit black American fighters he chooses not to like not because of their boxing abilities but because of how they behave outside the ring.
1. Wlad Klitschko 2. Ward 3. Rigo 4. Povetkin 5. Mayweather 6. Lebedev 7. Khan 8. Marqueers 9. Pacman 10. Bradders
1. Mayweather 2. Ward 3. Gonzalez 4. Pacquiao 5. Wladimir 6. Rigondeaux 7. Donaire 8. Estrada 9. Bradley 10. Marquez Hon. mention: Hopkins, Froch, Cotto, Alvarez, Yamanaka, Ioka, Golovkin, Adonis
Pac is the clear #2 for me after beating Bradley who at the time had one of the best records in boxing. Ward has to be dropped off. There is no case for a non-fighter holding the #2 spot. Froch has to be in there somewhere too. 6-7 maybe.
