That's a great video, clearest footage I ever seen of Louis. I wish all my old fights had picture quality like this.

Everyone of those punches looks painful.

 

If only some of these tapes had been preserved better. Love watching old fights but you really have to put a different level of attention in when watching a lot of these with frames missing and static.

Yeah, and they are legitimate knockout punches. as in; the people who receive them become incapacitated. even iron chinned fighters like Baer. it's not like where someone drops to a knee or gets buzzed. Just a drop like a dead weight, lights out.
