I didn`t score it. Pertson impressed me more. But the rounds he tried to box he didn`t box effectively enough. He probably needed to mix up his inside fighting into the rounds where he boxed more. If he`d have done that he probably would have won easily. It's weird I'm actually more interested in seeing Peterson more in the future even though he lost. I he fights inside far better then most fighters and has good boxing and technical skills as well. Overall I have to say....and I hate to do this because there were too close fights tonight....but I have to give PBC credit, whatever you think about the decisions in either fight, out of the 6 score cards there wasn't any completely ridiculous score cards for either fight tonight.
G - P 10-10 10-9 10-10 9-10 10-9 10-9 10-9 9-10 9-10 10-9 9-10 9-10 114-115 I had 2 of the first 3 rounds even because they were very close. Peterson won most of his rounds clearly though and looked more like the winner as Garcia did.
I think it's safe to say that if you scored it RBR, you probably had it close. But if RBR didn't exist and you went by damage, no noubt Peterson wins.
Garcia 115-113 Agreed with Farhood except to switch round 9 and 10 and its 7-5 Garcia I felt Garcia won the early rounds mostly due to the lack of anything by Petersen offensively. He moved and made Garcia very uncomfortable but you have to land punches to win a fight He turned the tied big time in round 8 with the body punches and deflated Garcia but surprisingly gave away round 10 which proved critical
