Show me 7 rounds in which GGG didn't get outworked?

 

Didn't score but I felt Derevyanchenko won close

 

I was watching at a fight party and didn't score rbr, but watching it live everybody in attendance at this party thought chenko won... GGG better stay away from Canelo.

 

I didn’t score the fight on a rbr basis (got caught up watching the action and forgot to score) but overall it had the feeling of being razor close with a lot of even round and/or swing rounds. I was ok with ggg getting the nod, I think he came out firing in a lot of the rounds doing damage but chenko would rally and give the impression that he was winning, I don’t know, tough to score.

I kind of feel bad that GGG was getting booed at the end of the fight. Like he said, he’s a boxer, he did his job and fought his ass off in a gruelling fight and you gotta respect that.

 

GGG wasn't a champion, so the close rounds don't benefit him.

 

Scoring is based on punched landed in rounds. GGG has a 10-8 round. If you have is 6-6, GGG wins. So you need to show us which 7 round Chenko won, and then well see what type of judge you are by reviewing them. If a round is too close to call you score it 10-10.

 

Dervy had 10 rounds where he out- landed G in power shots. 183 to 136 in the end. Thats a large gap in clean and effective punching.

The gap in total punch count was minimal with 243 G to 230 SD

It was a close fight , could have went either way.

 

GGG needs to stay away from any elite fighter going forward ... I know he's beloved on these boxing forums, but I've said for years hes overrated and finally it's been showing!

 

My point exactly.. Why should it benefit SD?

 

Didn't score it but GGG close didn't seem wrong to me.

Not a prayer was this a robbery, just a very close fight where the A side got the nod. Get over it.

Good fight, clear who's the better technician and who's physically superior.
Aside from saying that GGG would stop him this was pretty on point.

GGG clearly much slower, not the same fighter as the one from the Canelo fight, let alone before. He still hits hard and puts shots together nicely.
SD is an excellent, versatile boxer with great feet and ring IQ.
Derevyanchenko has an argument to be a top 2/3 MW.
Derevyanchenko penned a blueprint to beat GGG, it's virtually useless now that GGGs careers won't last long now but it gives some interesting insight to the some fantasy fights.
GGG has forgotten how to throw body punches, and probably has since the Jacobs fight.
