What does the Klitschko fight have to do with this one? Totally different fight, totally different set of circumstances..

 

It was a great fight, many close rounds, so I guess it depends on what caught your eye. I was pretty sure of who I gave each round to, on first viewing.

115 - 112 GGG for me. Kudos to Jacobs though for giving him a good fight. I can see how some people had it closer - but I can't make an argument for a Jacobs win personally.

 

Yeah the knockdown was in the 4th not 6th, i made that post at past 2 in the morning, i guess the tiredness affected me haha. I actually have the 6th round as one of the 3 rounds jacobs won. But everything else i said stands. Golovkin swept the first 5 rounds plus a knockdown, meaning that he was 6 points up after 5 rounds as i said. The only close round in the first 5 was the second, golovkin outlanded him by a landslide in the other 4. The 8th round was also a total domination by golovkin, he landed nearly 3 times as many punches as jacobs in that round.

 

Oops. Yeah when I rewatched 10th went to Jacobs. Still have GGG win

 

I thought GGG Jab really shines in the second round. I know all 3 official judges gave GGG round 1. Which I could see? But for me I liked his round 2 work better. All this shows was that it was close fight but to give rounds to GGG is not crazy
