Post your heavyweight rankings please and include both Fury and Povetkin as "active". Here are mine as follows: 1. Fury 2. Klitschko 3. Ortiz 4. Povetkin 5. Joshua 6. Parker 7. Haye 8. Wilder 9. Pulev 10. Chisora or Whyte Thoughts?
So you have inactive and officially suspended Fury as your #1, inactive (due to Fury) Klitschko at #2 and a guy who hasn't fought a life body in almost 5½ years at #7?
If you bothered to read my post rather than jumping in with both feet, I explicitly said to include Fury (and Povetkin) in the list as where you would see them. What's wrong with Klitschko at 2? The guys lost one fight in a million years and now everybody is writing him off? It's difficult to rank Haye but feel he gets to around 7 based on his ability, I can't rank any of the guys I've put below him further up - can you? What's your list for comparison?
Ok, if you want to really put him in as active he'd probably be the #1 right now on beating Wladdy and Wlad himself at #2. But both are very inactive right now in reality I think he still beats most of the top 10 if he comes back decent... I actually slightly favor him over Joshua. We don't know if he still has that ability after 5½ years of nobody having seen any of it. Every hard punching decent HW's would have mauled the two record padders he came up with at his return.
1/ Joshua 2 / Klitchko 3 / Fury 4 / Wilder 5 / Povetkin 6 / Haye 7/ Parker 8 / Ortiz 9/ Pulev 10 / Whyte
My list is based rather on eye test, with Fury and Povetkin included. I consider Fury #1 if he gets in the same shape as he was in Chisora2 and Wlad fights. 1. Fury 2. Joshua 3. Wlad 4. Povetkin 5. Ortiz 6. Wilder 7. Parker 8. Haye 9. Pulev 10. Ruiz Jr Notes: Haye just beat two punching bags, but did it quite easily and I think he still has a lot in his tank. Jennings is out cause he lost 2 fights in a row and still hasn't come back with a win. Takam is also close to top-10 but needs to score at least one good win since beating Thompson in 2014 Whyte and Chisora are about even for me, less talented than anyone from my top-10 so they are probably #11 and 12 on my list
Some interesting lists, surprised to see people rankings Jennings at all and even more surprised that people are putting Joshua and sometimes even Wlad above Fury.
As I wrote, Fury is clear #1 for me, if he's the same Tyson Fury from 2014-15. He clearly beat 9-year reigning world champion and until he comes back and looks like sh@t or loses, he's #1 despite anything
Joshua is a stylistically nightmare for Fury . Klitchko has never lost rematches or looked worse fighting a same opponent twice . Fury was a career in shape in Wlad and tested positive for Nandralone so ? Wlad did have personal issues going on at the time of concerning family issues . I had Wlad k.oing Fury in 7 had that rematch took place . Fury is mentally unwinded and Wlad is motivated now ,he didnt even try as some ppl wish to believe to hype Fury up (Many openings were there I SAW them ) Joshua is a super athletic power house who has power ,speed and technical ability with youth ,anyone who doesnt have him at number 1 should have Wlad based on the CURRENT now . Fury couldn't have fone anything worse in the year absence ,he cant be number one based on Wlad without PROOF of another fight. IDO think Fury is good enough to potentially beat everyone else but ????????? I had to rank him at 3 bc of Wilders resume and his size and experience over the others .
1. Parker* (WBO Champion) 2. Joshua* (IBF Champiin) 3. Wilder* (WBC Champion) 4. Klitschko 5. Povetkin 6. Ortiz* 7. Haye 8. Pulev 9. Ruiz 10. Ugonah* * = undefeated
