That makes it 116-113 or 115-113, JMM. If you give every close round to Pac, you could argue for a draw. No way Pacquiao won this fight.

 

I had a hard time believing those punch stats. Unless I was missing action as I was doing a mass rbr text for some friends.
114-114 would be doing manny a favor. I had it 115-113 JMM

 

Mine:

Round 1: Pacquaio, nothing much, still feeling each other's reach.
Round 2: Pacquiao, could've gone either way tho.
Round 3: JMM
Round 4: Pacquiao
Round 5: JMM schools Pac
Round 6: Epic punch by JMM sends Pac back, absolute schooling by JMM
Round 7: Heavy counterpuching by JMM, could've gone either way
Round 8: JMM
Round 9: EPIC EPIC round. Reminiscent of their past two fights. Only time JMM looked overwhelmed. A close round, but Pacquiao clearly edged this one.
Round 10: Pacquiao. JMM looking fatigued. Can't keep up with Pac's workrate. Ugly headbutt here.
Round 11: Pacquiao's workrate has done it again. JMM, the fight is not yet over, WTF are you doing?
Round 12: Pacquioo was the only person who landed the meaningful shot. JMM thought he was cruising to a victory.

Final tally: 115-113, 7 rounds to 5. Pacquiao.
Could be a draw if you give round 12 to JMM.


Some thoughts:

Nacho was spot on, Pac trying to be a technical boxer results to a predictable Pac, results to JMM getting the upper hand.
If Pac fought more like he did in round 9, JMM would've gone down. It was very clear that JMM can't handle the intensity.
You may not have noticed it, but Pac's footwork was splendid. Nothing ATG, but clearly splendid. Problem is, it doesn't work against JMM. Going all out and ballsy is the way to get rid of El Dinamita.

There were couple of really close rounds so I wouldn't cry robbery if someone scores the fight 114-114 or 115-113 but 116-112 for Manny is imo way too big margin.

I had the bout even. nO way it was a robbery as Marquez only got 5 clear rounds and one is questionable, so the best he could ever do is to salvaged a draw.
