go back to fight night and the week after. see the scorecards, see the comments. about 75% thought marquez won

normal fans tire of this same old rehashed ****. we know what happened. *******s flood to these threads precisely because it exposes their insecurities and the holes in their god's plating. normal people can live with what happened and move on, being confident in their own judgment and their normal peers' judgment. *******s will never let this go precisely because they don't have that confidence. "lie to yourself enough times and you'll start to believe it."

and the guy with a gorilla in his avatar is a ***.

over and out. divac, dont bother man.

I don't have my round by round score card but I do remeber I had marquez winning by two points but I'm going to watch it again right now and see if I still get the same result.

I scored this fight 8 rounds to 4 for Marquez, I scored the first fight 9 rounds to 3 Marquez.

Out of 24 rounds I have Marquez winning 17 and Pac winning 7, what a joke that Pac has gone on to have the big fights and not Marquez because of bull**** judging.

Why are'nt you mentioning the many boxing journalist who had it 8-4 for JMM.......there's many who had it 8-4 for JMM......and I doubt very seriously to find anyone that would have it that far for Pacquiao....even *******s themselves!

Exactly, as I just posted in my prior post.....many pro boxing journalist scored it as you did.....wide in rounds for JMM.....
....and for those with the audacity to score for Pacquiao, what more can they do in their corruption than claim as close a score as possible and hope to avoid being ridiculed.

C'mon here....most of the most ardent *******s only gave Pacquiao the fight by a point......and dont tell me these guys know how to score a fight, are honest, and unbiased???:lol::lol:

Even *******s knew better than to ridicule themselves by refraining to give Pacquiao more rounds than they had already stolen form JMM.......
Logically they only stole enough rounds off Marquez for Pac to eek out a victory on their cards they know damn well he did'nt deserve!:lol:

I know man :) i was just entertaining you... notice the careful wording i used ;).

Yep.. was expecting you to pull this one out (and a diff. one). Though taken in context it's one in purpose... (and this is ignoring how the bible has been changed again & again & again.. as in the New Testament specifically.. how 4 gospels out of around 12 got CHOSEN as holy while others destroyed.. etc.... funny old game is the hi-jacking of the 'christian' religion but nvm :) ). But yeah, this one doesn't denote TRINITY though does it :p. It's loosely verging on the concept of the father & son being one (which again, doesn't work.. and the 'son of god' thing is also flawed as this IS the language of the bible... e.g. Solomon was called so in the Old Testament!)... but it's not trinity!

The one CLOSEST to trinity is Words to the effect of "there are 3 that bear accord in heaven: the father, the son & the holy spirit"

again, ofcourse this is assuming that he actually said what is attributed to him (we all know how that works out, esp. in a document that is known to have been edited over n over again.. even today!.. i mean we dont even have open access to the original aramaic & greek manuscripts...! not that even if we did it makes much of a difference as they're not like the 'holy books' of old.. which were revealed, in terms of judeo-christian-islamic prophetic tradition.. to a particular prophet... rather than to loads of diff men & compiled together to make a new half of a holy book).

but anyhow...! it's not relevant to this thread
buT! u ever wanna talk comparative religion, gimme a shout. It's interesting :).

    :)

Yeah man, i knew what u meant.. like i said i was just playing around lol (regarding 'trinitarian' concepts of God).

You're wrong. There was a poll on ESB asking who won that fight. It was started the day after the fight. 400 people voted and less than 50% said that Marquez won.

Well yes, but personally I don't consider ESB a trustworthy source when it comes to Pacquiao. This board is heavily pro-Pacquiao, so a close fight given to him by most doesn't mean all that much.

I don't consider this board to be heavily pro-Pacquiao. There are some big Pacquiao fans who make alot of noise, but there are just as many critics (more actually) and neutral fans as for any other fighter.

Also, boxing fans in general are pro-Pacquiao, since Pacquiao is a legend of the sport.

Sure. They surely are heavily pro-Marquez.

Edit: I remembered about this thread of mine, where I asked ESBers to choose which of those two (Pac and JMM) they like the most. Here it is: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=97092

Agreed. By saying pro-Pacquiao I meant Pacquiao fans, but sure, boxing fans should definitely appreciate the man, even if they aren't big fans of his. I sure do and I like to watch him fight.

I like to consider myself a fan who appreciates the sweet side of the sweet science, but let's face it, Marquez hit the deck four, technically five, times in 24 rounds against Manny. Yes the fights were incredibly close, especially the second one, and could have gone either way, but at the end of the day most razor close fights do not go to the guy who at critical points got planted on his ass. It's just the way it is. Calling these decisions "robberies" of Marquez is sour grapes.

Pac and JMM are one of those pairs of guys (like Barrera and Morales) where every single fight between them is going to be that close. They are just perfect compliments to each other.

This is actually more entertaining and stimulating than the endless debates of who actually won the JMM-Pac 2 fight.

I never pay attention to this threads because predicably, each fan has their own opinion and consider their opinion as the "gospel" or absolute truth.

In truth, the fight is so close that any win for any fighter is accepatable as long as the scoreline is reflective of what had happened in the ring. Unlike some IDIOTIC and Moronic posters who had scorecards at 116-112 or 118-112 (yet they are the ones proselytizing about how to actaully score a fight).

Had Pac lost to JMM, there is no shame in that because losing to a great fighter by the narrowest margin, despite the stylistic handicap is a feat itself.

However, the scorecards (and history) is a win for Pac and nothing can erase that. Although some people need to keep repeating this "MANTRA" -"JMM schooled Pac and actually won the fight if not for the inept and bias judging" over and over and over and over again and again hundreds of times before going to bed and upon waking up to maintain a certain level of sanity and a "faux" reality.

BTW, I know that you were just playing around. Do you think I was serious as well? It was just supposed to be part of the "sarcasm" albeit not even a subtle one. Thanks for making my mind work after these prolonged and meaningless thread.

You are an intelligent person which is a rare breed in ESB. I am sure you had moved on from the JMM-Pac 2 fight. Afterall that fight took place ages ago and each fighter had faced several since then.

  14. Marquez landed the harder, flusher shots throughout the fight. He hurt Pacquio at least 3 times. I am well aware that he suffered a knockdown in round 3 and i still stand by my statements. I had it 114-112 for Marquez. It was a robbery in my opinion because he clearly won despite being knocked down.

No. look up threads from this and any other forum aside from pacland.

the heavy majority of boxing fans and experts scored it for marquez.

    the issue's done.
