In your own little mind Pac got beat, but for the record Pac won and you could whine :|:|:|along with pee drinker for the rest of your life it won't matter because Pac will be remembered as the winner.
Well, always rooted for Marco growing up, loved his style and agression and thought he would beat Hamed. One of the hardest fights for me to accept was Pac-Barrera I. I detested Morales then. Now, he has overcome Marco because of the way he went out against Pac every time. Marco did not go for it in the second fight, and Pac coasted as well. So pre Pac/Chris John, I would have to say: Barrera - demigodly performances, able to box when necessary Morales - unlikable but exciting, with clear losses to Marco Marquez - unwilling to take chances, not enough risk to be considered an all time great BUT my opinions changed after the Chris John/Pac fights. Barrera - ulitmately too cautious to end his career with the risks that made him so popular, a good boxer who came up just a bit short against Marquez. Morales - unbelievable will, the greatest heart of the three, because even though he had skill and technique he would SURRENDER those advantages to make it a good fight every time for his fans. Marquez - quite possibly the most talented skill wise of the three, but that does not necessarily mean he was the greatest. Barrera proved he could box on the level with him, and Marquez did not show much heart until after the loss to Chris John, where he started to abandon his tactics and really show his heart in every win. Great warrior who had close fights with pac even if I don't think he won. As time went on, the two guys I didn't like became more likable and the one guy I always loved became more like the old Marquez, cowering behind style. Now I love them all and while I have favorites in head to head match ups can't say that I like any of them more than the others. The best featherweight era of all time, in my opinion, with these guys and Pac, and Floyd and young Shane only a little bigger at jr and lightweight. I think Morales gave his fans the most and never never never disappointed anyone even when he was outgunned and old, because he was still trying to chase even Raheem around the ring with one hand up and the other down at his waist. Marquez has disappointed me the most when watching fights, but I am not going to deny he belongs with these three.
id rank them not according to talent but how i like them 1. Morales = i actually liked him more after post-pac 2. Marquez = genius in the ring... but hates him for being a crybaby 3. MAB = (id rank him #1 on talent) but meh, this guy is just dirty (great talent but bad attitude)
